You Can Finally Watch 'Tenet' From the Safety Of Your Home. Here's How.

Despite the ongoing pandemic, Christopher Nolan's latest blockbuster Tenet was released on select theaters worldwide earlier this year. One of only a handful of movies to go forward with a theatrical release, the movie did okay, given the circumstances. And two months after the release Nolan himself seemed fine with how it performed.
“Warner Bros. released Tenet, and I’m thrilled that it has made almost $350 million,” he told the LA Times in November. “But I am worried that the studios are drawing the wrong conclusions from our release — that rather than looking at where the film has worked well and how that can provide them with much needed revenue, they’re looking at where it hasn’t lived up to pre-COVID expectations and will start using that as an excuse to make exhibition take all the losses from the pandemic instead of getting in the game and adapting — or rebuilding our business, in other words.”
But, despite his insistence that his big movie be seen on a big screen, Nolan's Tenet is finally getting a home video release for the many people who didn't want to take the risk to see it in theaters.
On Dec. 15, Tenet will be available to stream on PVoD (premium video on demand) services, meaning you can purchase the film to stream for $19.99 on Amazon, Google Play, Apple TV, Fandango Now and Vudu.
However, for anyone hoping that Tenet, a Warner Bros. film, would be available on HBO Max, where all their future movies will get a same-day release—we have some bad news. Tenet will not be available on HBO Max, and Nolan himself is happy about that.
Nolan told the Associated Press that he's glad his movie, "isn't caught up in the mess that they've [Warner Bros.] made."
