ROYCE GRACIE: --help them out, doing the press.

KHONRY GRACIE: If you'd like to make a donation, just click the Learn More button on the Black Belt Facebook page. And it should send you on over.

ROYCE GRACIE: It will go straight to Red Cross. And, yeah. Please help them out. Because they are helping everyone around us.

So this is my son, Khonry. I'm Royce Gracie. Gracie Jiu Jitsu, it's self-defense art. It's not for fighting. It's not for tournaments. Why do you fight? It's to [INAUDIBLE] (CHIME) jiu jitsu [INAUDIBLE]. You're going to be defending yourself against somebody bigger and stronger. (CHIME)

So today, we're going to show some self-defense just like my father used to teach, basic stuff, very basic, very clean. Main thing, the more I do this, you don't have to think, you don't have to be strong, you don't have to be fast. If you have to rely on speed or strength, something's not right, as long as [INAUDIBLE] somebody that's bigger, stronger than you.

So let's assume just a very basic move. Somebody grabs you by the neck. I might grab him by the neck. Notice, for me to break your grip, it's not going to happen. But you can see, I can strike now. He can always let go and strike me right back. Especially if you're a smaller person, a female, [INAUDIBLE] reach out to strike, it's not going to solve your problem, it's going to aggravate your problem.

So first just hold your arm to me. First pull hands up, chin down. I have to step back. And my head goes down. And your whole body leverage [INAUDIBLE] instead of trying to break the grip away that [INAUDIBLE].

Lean down, perfect your step. Now that you're free, you can strike, you can run, you can [INAUDIBLE]. It's up to you.

So another move that's a big [INAUDIBLE] position that's feet out, the body goes forward into a head lock. [INAUDIBLE] fist block the punch [INAUDIBLE] So if you don't [INAUDIBLE] more, move one foot here. So instead, [INAUDIBLE] people [INAUDIBLE] by punching him, [INAUDIBLE] we both exchange [INAUDIBLE] If I'm bigger, I move [INAUDIBLE] If I'm lightweight, [INAUDIBLE]

Now you're going to [INAUDIBLE] chest, take a step back, [INAUDIBLE] against my hip so he cannot hold me [INAUDIBLE] right here [INAUDIBLE] you might not be able to see it, [INAUDIBLE] hear it. But he's using his [INAUDIBLE] to not move. He has not moved arms to control me.

Now he gives the head down, take a step, and turn [INAUDIBLE] keep the arms locked [INAUDIBLE] I grab [INAUDIBLE], block right away [INAUDIBLE] and move the arm. Then in slow motion, move the wrist, move the chest, and you step back and [INAUDIBLE]

KHONRY GRACIE: [INAUDIBLE]

ROYCE GRACIE: [INAUDIBLE] to stick my hips, I cannot. I don't have the leverage to pull him down anymore. Now he brings the head down, steps behind my back [INAUDIBLE] The idea is not to break somebody's arm, not to beat them up. It's to control. Assume that the aggressor is your brother, that you could have too much to drink and decide to be-- play funny games, and you see it and get aggressive. You're not going to beat him up and break his nose for that.

Most fights start off from right here, on [INAUDIBLE]. Most fights you see [INAUDIBLE] above-floor fight. So are you ready, are you read, and two guys come out to fight, those are professional guys. More than likely, a fight [INAUDIBLE] if we bumped shoulders, like, whoa, what are you looking at?

And then, if you know how to read body language, you already know which [INAUDIBLE] you see. [INAUDIBLE] right away [INAUDIBLE] start a discussion standing at arm-length [INAUDIBLE]. Because [INAUDIBLE]

So by the way, he's [INAUDIBLE]. He's like, whoa, calm down, sir. Instead of being hands up, as I'm arguing, you see, you might be nothing, you might be whatever, mad [INAUDIBLE] and now walk away. You might be one of those that might decide to swing a punch. It's [INAUDIBLE] both [INAUDIBLE] to arguing.

Now you're arguing, and you're talking, and you're talking. If you know how to read body language, you already know I'm getting myself ready. [INAUDIBLE] most likely, because he's going to wave his hands. He's going to walk-- he tends to walk away. Instead of [INAUDIBLE] starts to move back [INAUDIBLE] That's [INAUDIBLE] But you have to be ready at all times. Nothing might happen. It's OK. You just walk away. Or if it happens, you're ready.

[INAUDIBLE] put your hands behind your back or put your hands inside your pocket and stand like this. And then the guy is arguing. [INAUDIBLE] Well, by the time I start to see this, it's too late to get your hands up now. So hands up right off the bat. As soon as the arguments starts, [DISSONANT NOTE] [INAUDIBLE] keep your hands up. Now you're talking, and you're talking. Then I decide to swing. He blocks. [INAUDIBLE] one arm, [INAUDIBLE] to my second arm, [INAUDIBLE] down on my back, and he's getting ready for [INAUDIBLE] if you [INAUDIBLE] down here because you can [INAUDIBLE] lift it. [INAUDIBLE]

Most [INAUDIBLE] contact places that are [INAUDIBLE] I can swing that swing that this [INAUDIBLE] has to do block or [INAUDIBLE] you can stop and move away, [INAUDIBLE] He's going to follow me. He's going to [INAUDIBLE]. Once I stop moving, he can throw a couple new hits, then the head butt, [INAUDIBLE] armlock right here.

You then knee on your stomach, he wraps the palm with the back of the wrist and then shove the back wrist forward. Or if the arm comes out, he can step over, finish the armlock right here. So you have options right there.

[INAUDIBLE] walking down the street and bump shoulders. What's the matter? What's wrong with you? [INAUDIBLE] this and that. [INAUDIBLE] and the guy decides to swing. [INAUDIBLE] move behind the back. [INAUDIBLE] step in front of me for the hip to go, [INAUDIBLE] knee in the stomach, pin the guy down. Pull the bicep, [INAUDIBLE] the wrist forward.

Or once [INAUDIBLE] comes up, just move the arm, step over. You can [INAUDIBLE] them together. But [INAUDIBLE] arm up right there. [INAUDIBLE] but Royce, what do I do if for some reason, the guy pulls over and [INAUDIBLE] he's going to set me up with [INAUDIBLE] their feet [INAUDIBLE] their feet.

You notice, he's holding my wrist-- hold my head, please. If you go straight for the head, I can throw a big [INAUDIBLE] over here and maybe make him loosen up the legs. But he's holding my wrist so [INAUDIBLE]. You lock your legs. [INAUDIBLE] Make sure when you do your triangle that his this [INAUDIBLE] bend of the knee and moves in deeper than that, but not like [INAUDIBLE]

Then you go [INAUDIBLE] turn around [INAUDIBLE] both the wrists and [INAUDIBLE] my [INAUDIBLE] so I cannot [INAUDIBLE] at the top.

And, by the way, um, gotta love first responders, [INAUDIBLE], nurses, firemen, and [INAUDIBLE]. There all the time, at the hospital, or in a situation [INAUDIBLE] family members, that's so sad. [INAUDIBLE] come through and be a bigger asset, than they just want to come through another week [INAUDIBLE]. Ready to start this thing. You [INAUDIBLE] down. [INAUDIBLE] my hand a little [INAUDIBLE] on whatever in the body. I'm just going through and making sure we get [INAUDIBLE].

So I'm going to be talking to you closer, calm you down, almost like-- it's like he's an animal. Pet the animal, don't grab the animal, because he's going to jump. You're a cat, and squeezing a hold tight, he's going to start to jump out to get away. So you're just having a bad day. [INAUDIBLE]. Notice how I position myself. I'm not standing square, straight facing [INAUDIBLE]. A little bit off to the side, [INAUDIBLE] shoulder to shoulder.

You want to be here. [INAUDIBLE]. I'm talking to him, but I'm talking-- the person talking. [INAUDIBLE] it's OK, [INAUDIBLE]. It's all right. Everything will be fine. And I will position myself [INAUDIBLE]. Grabbing. I'm very lightly controlling the [INAUDIBLE]. So I can [INAUDIBLE] it's OK, [INAUDIBLE], everything will be fine. I just need you to sit down, calm down for a second. Can somebody bring some water for me, please?

You see, [INAUDIBLE]. I can see that [INAUDIBLE]. I'm going to be right here, position myself. Something happens, I can push myself away, or something happen, I can tackle him, hold on [INAUDIBLE]-- hold on to him [INAUDIBLE]. Just so I can protect myself. So [INAUDIBLE] something happens, [INAUDIBLE] you're going to stand over here waiting for the person to [INAUDIBLE]. Close the distance right away. Or suddenly [INAUDIBLE], the person's going to keep agitating, too aggressive.

I'm going to come in and go, hey, excuse me, how can I help you, sir? It's OK. [INAUDIBLE] I already closed the distance. You might want to give the person a chance to [INAUDIBLE]. It's all right. No, I totally understand what you're talking about. Listen, why don't you come with me? Let's have a seat. Let's have a talk.

I'm not grabbing you, I'm using body weight to push him on. Just [INAUDIBLE]. I'm not grabbing. You know, I'm just barely touching him. [INAUDIBLE] if you decide to [INAUDIBLE], I can hang on for a second. Then I [INAUDIBLE]. You see, this will provide the first [INAUDIBLE]. Those are very basic problem positions that happen in a street fight, confrontation-- confrontation.

A fight is not, are you ready? Are you ready? No. [INAUDIBLE] comes up, we're going to be calming down. It's OK. I understand. Notice that their hands comes up from a distance, not from here, because we can [INAUDIBLE] too late. I'm going to [INAUDIBLE]. I'm going to talk with my hands. Hey, it's OK. It's all right. Listen, yes, it's OK. Now, that's totally exactly what we're looking for.

Close the distance. That's the ideal [INAUDIBLE]. I don't want to [INAUDIBLE] because as I hit him, he can hit me back, because it's very [INAUDIBLE], and hits [INAUDIBLE]. So side feet. Another way to [INAUDIBLE], I'm going to keep somebody away with me standing from a far distance. I'll be the [INAUDIBLE], and I'm coming very aggressive towards him. One would be stop it first with a side kick right here.

So have him come in from [INAUDIBLE] See? His leg is all [INAUDIBLE] leaving the head, but the other spot, [INAUDIBLE]. You're just keeping away from him. So as I approach [INAUDIBLE] aggressive, he stopped me with a side kick. It's not a push, it's just a-- it's just a jab. It's just a jab, and it's done. It's not a pushing the person away. It's just a stopping-- stopping [INAUDIBLE].

Worse case, he's getting too aggressive, he decides to charge in. I'm going to come in. He's going to stop me right there. I can't reach [INAUDIBLE]. Though, most likely, it's not a-- like I was saying before, it's not a professional fighter, and you were both fighting. You know, it works still. I use this many times in my fights, just to keep the distance [INAUDIBLE]. But for the first responders, a person, a nurse, small female in a hospital, when the guy decides to become aggressive towards her, [INAUDIBLE] just [INAUDIBLE] in the stomach to stop them. We [INAUDIBLE] it's a side kick, just drive, hit him in the stomach.

Then you get in a [INAUDIBLE]. When you stop the person, now you're getting attached. You hold on to the person. Hold around. You should keep your head down, because I'm going to be trying to swing at you. If you keep your head up, that's when you get hit [INAUDIBLE]. It's just a-- go through the person, go through the-- like, [INAUDIBLE]. Why do you go in? Because it's the first move, and because it's [INAUDIBLE] most likely [INAUDIBLE]. So I want to gain attention.

I [INAUDIBLE] with him, and through the person. [INAUDIBLE], the person then becomes too aggressive, comes up to you, you kick, both hands [INAUDIBLE], both hands goes through to my arms. He's diving in. [INAUDIBLE] kicks is that here, both hands will [INAUDIBLE]. Like, now, basically, now-- basically, now, is you can then go lower, your head's going to push my shoulder, your hands are going to come up here.

Again, it's an option. You can always go through properly locking your head down, holding [INAUDIBLE] you can hold on, pin the person against the wall, just until you wait for backup to arrive, or we can always break away, too. If you feel [INAUDIBLE], now you go for the take-down. So you stop the person, dive in, when you go for a [INAUDIBLE], if there's a wall, you pin him against the wall, keep him here, until backup arrives. If there is nothing, if you want to let go, you're going to push yourself away, break away. It's the options.

So there's many things. So if you decide to take him down, drop your hands to the lower back, as the head pushes [INAUDIBLE], breaking my back, [INAUDIBLE], step over, step over. [INAUDIBLE]. I can't reach-- even reach him. But first, gravity is on his side. So if he tried to [INAUDIBLE] be protected by myself, as soon as he takes me down, I'm protecting myself.

[INAUDIBLE] throw a slap to the face, my hand could come up [INAUDIBLE], now we can go for [INAUDIBLE] push the wrist down, or [INAUDIBLE], forehand [INAUDIBLE] shoulder [INAUDIBLE], a couple open hand slaps, both [INAUDIBLE] push your arm down.

[INAUDIBLE] forehand [INAUDIBLE], and slide my wrist [INAUDIBLE]. Calm down [INAUDIBLE], come down, come down. If the person decided to come here at you, [INAUDIBLE] drop the arms, take the first step, step. Now, [INAUDIBLE] protect yourself, open your hands, slap. I always say open them, slap [INAUDIBLE] slap, because if you [INAUDIBLE] my story, because [INAUDIBLE], what happened? Oh, he-- [INAUDIBLE] he hit me in the face. What happened? Well, [INAUDIBLE] slapped me in the face. It doesn't sound right-- he slapped me on the face. It's like, [INAUDIBLE] yeah, he hit me. It's one thing. Yeah-- [INAUDIBLE] what happened? He slapped me.

[INAUDIBLE] assuming that that's changed now at the end, what if the person being the aggressor is a family member? You're going to smash his face? Well, you probably would, but-- he broke my rib once. So open hand slap just to control the situation. [INAUDIBLE] smash his face. So a couple of open hand slaps. [INAUDIBLE] I can defend myself. See the hand comes up, both arms pushed down. They should be [INAUDIBLE]. And slides underneath. Forehead in [INAUDIBLE]. Slide my [INAUDIBLE].

Some people probably [INAUDIBLE]. You always stand up in those. See? It becomes a habit. We're creatures of habit. So as soon-- that I am on the park, I'm on the beach, or even something happens, I'm on the ground, and I have to stand up, [INAUDIBLE]. Before I decide to stand up, [INAUDIBLE]. Stop, think about how you go up. It's like, if they're uncomfortable. If I'm on the ground, I can just-- if I [INAUDIBLE] this will keep them away just exactly enough to throw a kick. Like that.

[INAUDIBLE]. Something happened, I got to get up, [INAUDIBLE] just to defend myself. If I have to, small kick just to back him up, [INAUDIBLE]. So remember, and that is-- that goes with this [INAUDIBLE]. They will lose a lot. People call this shrimp, a very-- [INAUDIBLE]. The way that you get up is the same.

Very common that friends like to either joke around, or something happens, and they come from behind you, grab you, [INAUDIBLE]. And by extending your arms, they come in the neck. They try to [INAUDIBLE] of somebody else. You're in a fight, you're in a confrontation, somebody comes from behind, they are resisting. [INAUDIBLE]. You don't look like much, but [INAUDIBLE]. So we [INAUDIBLE]. Move around, take him down, so you [INAUDIBLE].

Take the hip to one side, you're going to step in the other side behind my back, [INAUDIBLE]. And your arms are [INAUDIBLE] from behind to try to hold you [INAUDIBLE]. They're exposed now. [INAUDIBLE] shift to the other side behind my back. [INAUDIBLE]. And then what you do, you're going to [INAUDIBLE] if you do that. [INAUDIBLE]. Just help guide [INAUDIBLE]. If I grab this, [INAUDIBLE] we are going to shift to the other side, [INAUDIBLE], we lift [INAUDIBLE].

And the fall, make sure that you throw the person without touching them, step out of the way, because [INAUDIBLE]. You just lift and let the person fall. [INAUDIBLE] get away, because [INAUDIBLE]. If I let go, [INAUDIBLE].

So nothing is [INAUDIBLE]. But I [INAUDIBLE] another guy says to him, get him, let's get him. We have time. Step behind the back, hold both knees just to guide, lift it up, let it go.

Now, the one from behind, [INAUDIBLE]. Look at your feet. You can easily move. That's the most important thing. [INAUDIBLE] base, so I cannot move him back. [INAUDIBLE]. Look at your feet, don't look up. Look down. Look at your feet. See your toes. [INAUDIBLE]. Again. [INAUDIBLE] pull on the left [INAUDIBLE]. then [INAUDIBLE] your arms. Good. [INAUDIBLE]

You don't have to throw the partner every time. [INAUDIBLE], step down like that. Right. [INAUDIBLE] thank you, [INAUDIBLE]. Thank you. [INAUDIBLE]. Part of practice, just pick him up, just pick a partner up. [INAUDIBLE]. Throw him once. You can throw him once. [INAUDIBLE]. If I [INAUDIBLE].

Is there any problem? [INAUDIBLE], again, [INAUDIBLE] a bigger, massive person, [INAUDIBLE] I told you, and start to push him back. [INAUDIBLE]. enough time to [INAUDIBLE]. Most likely I'm going to him by pushing the face. First thing, [INAUDIBLE] you can grab him by the neck. If you get grabbed by the neck, first thing [INAUDIBLE] put your hands up. Please don't hurt me. He's pushing me back. He's backing me out of here.

If he lets go, the problem is solved. There's no more problem. So you don't have to do it fast. Most likely you will get caught by surprise. So you have time to [INAUDIBLE] analyze what's going on. So if you grab me by the neck, he's like, whoa, please, don't hurt me. That is on [INAUDIBLE]. Again, for me to strike him, he's going to hit me back, and somebody who's going to grab you by the neck is going to be somebody that's bigger, and stronger than you. Hands up, first, please, come on, don't do this, what are you doing? What are you doing?

I'm going to grab him here like this. Notice [INAUDIBLE] elbow up high. [INAUDIBLE] can use [INAUDIBLE]. I don't want to do this way, unless you have a third arm coming that way [INAUDIBLE] put this elbow up, but if you're not, protect against this side. And you can get back to the same open side, [INAUDIBLE] see, I'm not pinching the ground, but I'm sitting on his arm, I'm breaking his elbow.

If you're grabbed by the neck, it's like, whoa, what are you doing, man? Calm down. Don't do this. Basically creating a time to analyze and see which hand will I grab, which hand I'm blocking, which [INAUDIBLE] I'm going to step. [INAUDIBLE]. So I grab the wrist from his grip, try to take it away. [INAUDIBLE] getting his hand out. Step, turn the wrist inside. One move forward, and I'm sitting back towards [INAUDIBLE]. I want to sit right here on the [INAUDIBLE].

Grab me by the neck, oh, what are you doing, man? Calm down. It's OK. It's OK. Grab one, two. [INAUDIBLE]. So [INAUDIBLE] grab you by the neck, [INAUDIBLE] up, [INAUDIBLE], leg down, and out you go. [INAUDIBLE].

The same thing, chin down, [INAUDIBLE], step back, then down. And now that you're free, you can throw a right hand punch, you [INAUDIBLE] left hand, you can throw a elbow hit to the face, you can throw the knee. See? It's up to you. You can tackle, rush in, or you can just simply walk away.

Someone grabs you by the neck, [INAUDIBLE], kick. [INAUDIBLE] it's up to you. You can run away, [INAUDIBLE], it's up to you. The first step [INAUDIBLE]. A person starts to get aggressive, a person starts to argue, [INAUDIBLE] you know which side [INAUDIBLE], like you cannot walk away from it, or I swing, block. [INAUDIBLE]. You hit [INAUDIBLE].

You can do this [INAUDIBLE] even if I stayed [INAUDIBLE]. Somebody grabs you in a headlock, notice that as soon as I approach, grab him by the neck, he's already just standing.

[INAUDIBLE] he's already stepping into me [INAUDIBLE]. It could be friendly, hey, it's OK, I'm with friends, but he's still holding my arm. [INAUDIBLE]. As soon as I come, he comes in [INAUDIBLE]. When I grab him in a headlock, yes, [INAUDIBLE]. Is too big, cannot go on the outside, go on the inside.

[INAUDIBLE] the outside [INAUDIBLE]. Reach in the inside, don't pull the arm over this. I can punch you. Step back, [INAUDIBLE]. I don't have the leverage now because you are [INAUDIBLE].

Head down to escape, [INAUDIBLE]. Person. So I'll come up to you, hey, what's going on, you can put arm [INAUDIBLE]. Don't do this, step back, [INAUDIBLE] he's pushing the hip into [INAUDIBLE]. That's what's stopping me from moving him down. Head down, [INAUDIBLE].

A person grabs you by the neck, [INAUDIBLE] face, [INAUDIBLE] face, and [INAUDIBLE] wrist, step, [INAUDIBLE]. You [INAUDIBLE] just one step [INAUDIBLE]. Sometimes [INAUDIBLE] over your arms, [INAUDIBLE], one side, go back to the other, [INAUDIBLE], lift him up, and release. [INAUDIBLE]. As soon as the head comes up, [INAUDIBLE].

Lay down [INAUDIBLE]. Person approaches you, hey, remember me? Kick, just create some space, you can back up, get up and go. [INAUDIBLE]. Hey, remember me? [INAUDIBLE]. I know you forgot about me.

[LAUGHTER]

Remember me? Lay down, please. [INAUDIBLE]. It's only self-defence. But [INAUDIBLE], knees, elbows, [INAUDIBLE] self-defense program, big downs. Are we doing [INAUDIBLE] it's all one. We just [INAUDIBLE]. My hand is pressing down. [INAUDIBLE]. Just rolling, just [INAUDIBLE], no strikes. [INAUDIBLE]

My face on top [INAUDIBLE]. I'm not holding him. I'm not lifting him up. See? I'm not trying to lift, I'm just [INAUDIBLE]. I don't want to-- his head [INAUDIBLE] is cheap moves [INAUDIBLE]. I will fall. This grab won't let me fall. I'll have to keep it in here. My knees are not open. I'm [INAUDIBLE]. Once you know you have a good base, and he picks himself up, [INAUDIBLE] my head right on top of his head.

[INAUDIBLE] and comes around, and [INAUDIBLE]. If he starts to give you too much of a hard time, hold the opposite [INAUDIBLE]. Just a punch and [INAUDIBLE] let go. [INAUDIBLE] get the legs to cross, my hand comes inside it, [INAUDIBLE] leverage [INAUDIBLE]. As long as I keep this trapped in his leg, my knees are trapped in [INAUDIBLE], kick my [INAUDIBLE] chest [INAUDIBLE]. And out. Chest within the legs like this.

KHONRY GRACIE: [INAUDIBLE]

ROYCE GRACIE: You got to [INAUDIBLE]. The same position, OK, but now I'm going to transfer. If it was a fight, you're hitting me, I'm going [INAUDIBLE] his arms [INAUDIBLE]. Go through a couple headbutts right here. [INAUDIBLE]. I can reach him, he cannot reach me, because gravity is on my side, so he's going to be defending himself.

[INAUDIBLE] so he can push [INAUDIBLE]. I am falling forward, something happens, and I catch myself. If I fall back, I can't catch myself. So [INAUDIBLE] lean forward, and catch yourself [INAUDIBLE] falling back. [INAUDIBLE]. A couple headbutts on his face, distraction, and then I'm going to do this [INAUDIBLE]. Distraction. Then comes around.

Elbow slides straight beyond his [INAUDIBLE]. Bam, bam. Then I'm going to go [INAUDIBLE] catch myself. A couple of hits. He opens the legs. As soon as you open, I can feel my legs are pinching his legs in. He said, give him space, then he can put the foot, now he push me away. So [INAUDIBLE]. He can't reach me, but I can reach him. So [INAUDIBLE] gravity is on my side, too.

[INAUDIBLE]. The elbow will [INAUDIBLE] over his head [INAUDIBLE]. Decide to go for another head lock. I make a mistake. Ahh. As long as [INAUDIBLE]. And bring my head down, [INAUDIBLE]. Hold my wrist, hold my bicep. [INAUDIBLE]. But now I make a mistake, I decide to turn around. The most common position of a fight is a head lock. Hold the wrist, turn to your side, [INAUDIBLE]. Just like that. [INAUDIBLE] crushing your chest.

So turn to your side, so the weight is not on you. Hold the wrist, hold the bicep. Hook the leg. Use the foot and the hand to pull yourself all the way on top of me. [INAUDIBLE]. So you can tell the person [INAUDIBLE]. Behind my head. You can throw punches to make me let go. Again, it's a family member. We don't want to smash his face, so [INAUDIBLE] the blade of the wrist, or the forearm, around my neck, grind the wrist as you pin the [INAUDIBLE] on my neck. [INAUDIBLE]. your head [INAUDIBLE].

It's not trying to pull your head up, put your head and your wrist across my neck, move your head up. It's not this, it's going to strain your neck. You're driving the weight a little to my left to make me let go. Again, secure the arm. Pin my head to the ground. [INAUDIBLE] my head. So I'm in a [INAUDIBLE]. Come on. [INAUDIBLE]. Come on. [INAUDIBLE]. Come on. [INAUDIBLE]. Yeah, there you go. [INAUDIBLE] put your arm across my neck, [INAUDIBLE] the wrist, [INAUDIBLE] the wrist, [INAUDIBLE].

It's a habit. I'm always [INAUDIBLE]. If not, I'm going to go for the [INAUDIBLE]. Of course, we just grab him, I'll grab it, [INAUDIBLE] stand up. [INAUDIBLE]. in a fight, I'm already here, [INAUDIBLE] do a couple headbutts, [INAUDIBLE]. Stand up. [INAUDIBLE]. Throw. Hand comes [INAUDIBLE]. push on top. I make a mistake, so I go for the head lock. And [INAUDIBLE], hold the leg. Step over, [INAUDIBLE].

Adjust your position. Stay here. We're doing OK. I can only throw you that way. So if you try too much too fast, you might loose your [INAUDIBLE]. Like, [INAUDIBLE] my neck, you start to loose your balance. Catch yourself. Stop. Again, put your hands on my neck. You start to loose your balance. [INAUDIBLE]. And then I fall down, I roll up. You're going to have to go back and do it again. [INAUDIBLE], and [INAUDIBLE] back up again.

So, now, just raise your hands [INAUDIBLE], so I cannot throw you over. [INAUDIBLE] loosen the neck, lean the weight [INAUDIBLE], secure your arm, secure the heads, [INAUDIBLE]. Walk away. Now, we can just [INAUDIBLE]. You decide. It's up to you. [INAUDIBLE] in the atmosphere.

[INAUDIBLE]. start arguing, you can always just put your hands in the bicep, and I'm going to [INAUDIBLE]. You're just calming the person, [INAUDIBLE]. And then [INAUDIBLE]. You just use the [INAUDIBLE] right in the chest [INAUDIBLE] guide him. [INAUDIBLE]. If he were to start to resist, that's when you can get in a [INAUDIBLE] over the arms, or over the arms the best you [INAUDIBLE]. It's OK. Hang on, of course.

Hey. I'm getting aggressive. [INAUDIBLE]. Then why are you [INAUDIBLE]? Then I [INAUDIBLE]. He steps in to block. [INAUDIBLE]. And if I stay [INAUDIBLE]. He grabs me by the neck. [INAUDIBLE]

I grab him by the neck [INAUDIBLE]. Move your hand. Same position, if I grab you this way or this way, [INAUDIBLE]. Got to move the arms. [INAUDIBLE]. It's the same [INAUDIBLE], this. So [INAUDIBLE].

As soon as I get [INAUDIBLE]. It is [INAUDIBLE]. If he's a friend, it's like, yeah, it's my friend, [INAUDIBLE], long time no see. He's controlled. I'm controlling him, he's controlling me. There's no waiting for the first [INAUDIBLE]. Pull up your wrist, step back, [INAUDIBLE], head down, [INAUDIBLE].

Lift up, head up high, like [INAUDIBLE]. If he opens his legs, pulling you off, [INAUDIBLE] my hip, [INAUDIBLE]. Grab my shoulders, pull yourself off the ground, you can pull yourself off the ground, [INAUDIBLE]. He's the one [INAUDIBLE]. Hand comes around. [INAUDIBLE]. It's too much of a hard time, [INAUDIBLE]. Fall forward [INAUDIBLE]. Head lock, and I make a mistake. Right away, he turns to his side. [INAUDIBLE]. Climb up. [INAUDIBLE]. Push-- there's no rush.

If I let go, good for you. If I hold on, make a [INAUDIBLE] across my face, hold your wrist, [INAUDIBLE] pin the head to the ground, [INAUDIBLE]. Enjoy this class. Some of [INAUDIBLE]. Moves [INAUDIBLE] practice, but, again, thank you, Black Belt.
