This Fence That Turns Into a Table Would Totally Change How You Dine With Your Neighbors
Dining outside in the summer is one of life's greatest joys. You get to take in the fresh air while eating summery foods like pasta salads and drinking fruity cocktails. The only downside comes from the amount of space many outdoor tables can take up, especially ones that are meant to seat a lot of people. If you have a small backyard, space is even more precious. Don't worry, though, because there’s a genius solution to all of your outdoor dining problems: a fence that turns into a table.
The social media company It’s Gone Viral, which helps brands build their digital voices, shared a video it discovered on Facebook that shows a fence turning into a table. The video, from user Jamie Hurton, starts off by showing what looks like a normal wooden fence until two neighbors flip it into a table in a matter of seconds, securing it with wooden legs, which look just like planks, so they go unnoticed when the fence is upright.
Imagine all of the space this outdoor table and fence combo would save! Plus, if you love to dine with your neighbors, it seems like a pretty easy (and relatively socially distant) way to do it. Think: You wouldn’t have to decide whose house to host a dinner at, because you could simultaneously do it at both. It’s a brilliant concept.
