This Feel-Good Flick Is the New #3 Movie on Netflix

Introducing 2 Hearts, a feel-good film that’s bound to improve your streaming queue.

The drama recently claimed the number three spot on Netflix’s list of most-watched movies, and it’s managed to hold its place for several days. (It’s currently ranked behind Dog Gone Trouble and Home but ahead of Army of the Dead and Blue Miracle.)

So, what’s it about? 2 Hearts follows two very different love stories. While Christopher “Chris” Gregory (Jacob Elordi) is a college student who falls for his classmate, Jorge Bacardi (Adan Canto) is a Cuban exile turned businessman who meets the love of his life, a flight attendant.

In a bizarre twist of fate, their counterpart lives eventually intersect to create a heartwarming tale you need to see to believe. Oh, and did we mention it’s based on a true story?

2 Hearts was directed by Lance Hool (Man on Fire). The screenplay was written by Robin U. Russin (When I Sing) and Veronica Hool (The Resident), who also served as an executive producer alongside Aaron Au (Firefly Lane) and Shawn Williamson (The Company You Keep).

In addition to Elordi and Canto, the movie also stars Tiera Skovbye (Samantha “Sam” Peters) and Radha Mitchell (Leslie Bacardi).

According to Netflix’s official description, “In parallel love stories, the lives of college student Chris and wealthy businessman Jorge intersect in a profound twist of fate. Based on a true story.”

Say no more.
