Y2K trends are resurfacing in every department, from bright under eyes to campy futuristic outfits. Hairstyles are no exception to the 2000s rule — while hair tinsel and crimped tresses are slowly making their way back to the forefront, the latest Y2K trend to resurface is hair stamps. Per Glamour UK, the trend originally started in the '90s, and while it made its way to media in the 2000s, it never really took off the way you'd think. A few of your fave celebs are some of the catalysts behind the hair stamp renaissance, and I, for one, am completely on board.

On January 17, 2022, Bad Gal Riri took to Instagram to tease her Valentine's Day collection for her lingerie brand, Savage X Fenty. "Valentine’s Day is for me….but you can watch 😘," she captioned the snap, where she rocks black hair with red tiger-striped stamps.

After she posted the 🔥🔥🔥 pics, beauty retailer Justmylook revealed that fans want to hop on the hair stamp train as searches skyrocketed by 566% overnight and "Rihanna hair" increased by 6700% (which is a freakin' lot). While Rih has always been a trendsetter, other A-listers have recently worn the look too.

Cool girl/fashion icon Dua Lipa posted several pics in a hot pink bikini where she reintroduced fans to her blonde tresses. However, things were a little different this time as she elevated the look with neon green and orange hair stamps.

And, back in February 2021, Megan Thee Stallion gave off major hottie vibes in her music video for "Cry Baby." Hairstylist Kellon Deryck shared the details when it came to the process of stamping the super cute flowers on Meg's platinum blonde wig.

He even revealed the exact products he used to create the pastel look. While Guy Tang Mydentity is only sold to licensed professionals, you can still achieve a similar vibe with other user-friendly brands.
