As an homage to Colombia's rich heritage and plush ecosystem, Fashionkind cofounders Nina Farran and Sophia Bush are tapping into their roots for a statement-making partnership that goes beyond the closet. The newly launched lifestyle company is working with Colombian brands Juan de Dios, known for its resortwear, and Moye, an interior decor and wallpaper label, to introduce customers to all their mutual motherland has to offer. And they're doing so through a curated selection of home and fashion pieces.

"We love to find brands with a strong sense of place that can really transport you through their design and craftsmanship," Bush exclusively tells BAZAAR.com. "Juan de Dios and Moye do that beautifully on their own, and there's a vibrant synergy in the collaboration that really conveys the magic of Colombia."

For the cofounders, it was equally as important to work with designers who keep the planet and its limited resources top of mind. "Both brands also operate with a culture of responsibility and positive impact, which is essential to Fashionkind's mission," Bush explains. It's is one of the reasons the celebrity-designer calls the partnership a "perfect fit."

“Juan de Dios empowers women in Colombia and uses recycled or natural dyes," the actress says about the fashion brand's approach to design. "Moye makes their wallpaper with recycled pulp fiber and nontoxic, water-based inks. Even the seed of the collaboration—[de Dios is] venturing into home as a way to use excess fabric from their resortwear—is fully lined with what Fashionkind stands for."
