There may be even more evidence to suggest Taylor Swift is engaged to her boyfriend of four years, Joe Alwyn.

Swift fans have been chattering nonstop ever since she announced she&aposs rerecording her old music. It&aposs no surprise, then, that they dove deep into the singer&aposs surprise preview of “Love Story” 2.0 and found possible Easter eggs.

Like Glamour previously reported, fans were quick to catch the not-so-subtle shade thrown at Scooter Braun in the hilarious Ryan Reynolds Match.com commercial, which featured the rerecording of “Love Story.” But all that drama may have overshadowed an even bigger reveal.

One fan on Twitter pointed out there seems to be a pretty suspicious lyrical change in the new version of “Love Story.” They heard, “It&aposs a love story; baby just said yes” instead of “It&aposs a love story; baby just say yes.”

“Wait why aren’t we talking about the fact that Taylor said ‘it’s a love story baby just SAID yes.’ I just saw a tiktok and I didn’t even notice until the girl pointed it out,” they tweeted. “OMG original lyrics are baby just say yes, is our queen trying to tell us something?”

One person in the replies suggested this could&aposve been for the sake of the commercial, but Swift didn&apost say anything about adjusting her music for Reynolds&aposs project. In fact, she simply said the actor asked if he “could use a snippet.”

One fan went viral after putting the conspiracy theory on TikTok.

Swifties, of course, are freaking out over this possible revelation. “You don&apost write and release ‘Paper Rings’ and not be engaged 2 years later please,” one TikTok user commented.

“If she told us tomorrow that she and Joe have been married since before Lover I would not be surprised at all,” another added.

To play devil&aposs advocate, it is possible fans could&aposve misheard this lyric. But it does sound like she reworked the song a smidge. Some listeners even pointed out there were church bells added just before the lyric in question.

Of course, engagement rumors have been swirling since the release of Swift&aposs documentary Miss Americana back in January, where she was filmed wearing what some believed to be an engagement ring.

Whether or not Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn are taking that next step in their relationship, they&aposre pretty good at keeping us all invested. And no matter what, the new “Love Story” slaps.
