While a lot of people go to great lengths to keep the grays away, Salma Hayek is happy to point hers out.

The 52-year-old Savages actress shared a selfie featuring several white hairs growing in her full head of dark hair. She captioned the photo, “#proud of my white hair,” in both English and Spanish.

Of course, she looked fabulous, as usual. And, of course, people noticed.

Her supporters gushed about her timeless look:

“You are naturally BEAUTIFUL”

“Yes! You’ve earned them. Beautiful”

“Natural is beautiful.”

“I love this about you. I’m embracing my grey hair too and it feels great”

“Made my day … beautiful lady”

“You are ageless”

“Always beautiful now and forever”

Hayek explained her philosophy about her hair in an August 2017 piece for the New York Times. “It’s my natural color, and it’s my natural white hairs,” Hayek said. “One of the reasons I don’t dye my hair is because I don’t have the patience to sit through it. I don’t want to spend what’s left of my youth pretending I’m younger and then not enjoying life.”

She also told the newspaper that she tends to make hair changes only when she’s pressed by her glam squad.

“I get my hair cut wherever I’m working or doing publicity, and the hairdresser asks me, ‘Please, please, can I cut your hair?’ It’s the same with my eyebrows. They grow and grow until a makeup artist looks at me and begs to do something to them because they’re so much.”
