  • Jamie Lee Curtis, 62, rocked a silver pixie cut and a satin yellow dress with a plunging neckline at the 2021 Golden Globes.

  • Fans went wild over the actress’s look, particularly calling out her gorgeous gray hair.

  • Curtis previously opened up about aging, saying that she has “not one second of anxiety” about getting older.

Jamie Lee Curtis may not have received a 2021 Golden Globes nomination, but her dress—a satin yellow number with a plunging neckline, balloon sleeves, and a glorious bow—certainly took home an award. The Knives Out star, 62, attended the event to present the Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role award to her “bestie” Jodie Foster for her role in The Mauritanian. And as soon as she hit the stage rocking that dress and a silver pixie cut, the internet showered her with well-deserved praise.

“As I lay me down to sleep, I pray I age as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. Amen,” one person tweeted. “Walking into this week with Jamie Lee Curtis level confidence,” another added. “Jamie Lee Curtis is making me feel a little bit better about all the gray hair that I’ve sort of let grow out in the last year,” another wrote.

The show-stopping look also inspired people to revisit Curtis’ long-time Activia campaign, jokingly crediting the probiotic yogurt for her empowered glow. “Jamie Lee Curtis looks so good ... pass me the Activia,” one viewer tweeted. “On my way to the store to get me some Activia after seeing how good Jamie Lee Curtis looks at the golden globes,” another wrote.

Of course, Curtis’ reaction to the love was nothing but humble. After the show, she shared a photo of her red carpet moment to Instagram. “What a thrill to salute front line workers and a talented group of actresses AND call out my friend, Jodie Foster,” she wrote. Then she acknowledged her look, tagging her glam squad and adding, “It takes a village to prepare me for public consumption.”

She may’ve poked fun at herself there, but over the last decade, the actress has spoken seriously on aging and her plans to do it gracefully. Before turning 50, she spoke to AARP. “I have not one second of anxiety about turning 50,” she said. “If I can challenge old ideas about aging, I will feel more and more invigorated. I want to represent this new way. I want to be a new version of the 70-year-old woman. Vital, strong, very physical, very agile.”

After going viral for her beauty at age 62, there’s no denying that she’ll surpass that goal.
