Fans are Getting Black Panther Inspired Nail Art Manicures

Yes — you can now put Michael B. Jordan's face on your ring finger.

The stunning natural hairstyles aren't the only look you're going to want to steal from Black Panther: Fans are showing their love for the film by DIY-ing Wakanda-inspired manicures, and trust us, they're going to make you want to book your next nail appointment, stat.

People are using everything from itty-bitty panther faces to African-inspired prints to Vibranium-esque silver details, and taking to their nails to show their support of T'Challa, Nakia, Okoye, and, yes — even Killmonger. Considering the movie has smashed all kind of box office records (it made a cool $192 million in a single weekend) and seemingly everyone — including Michelle Obama — is a fan of the flick, it's no surprise that these beautiful pieces of small-scale art are suddenly taking over our Instagram Discover pages.

However, elaborate nails aren't the only way fans are using beauty to show their love for the film and its portrayal of African culture. As costume designer Ruth E. Carter points out, many men and women are taking the opportunity to dress in traditional garb for the screenings. "I’m actually seeing people who are adorning this cultural aesthetic in a very beautiful and serious way," she told Teen Vogue. "They are serious about having their tribal markings on their face. They’re serious about coming in an actual Nigerian drape or robe. And you may just see someone in their favorite African necklace and that’s it. I’ve retrained my thoughts and mindset around it and it’s made me even more proud to be part of this dynamic because it’s a real connection and not a folklore kind of one."

Here, some of our favorite Black Panther-inspired manicures — living proof that Wakanda really is forever.

These talons are so sharp, they could be used as a weapon as part of the actual black panther suit (sequel idea, anyone?):

Because why wouldn't you want Michael B. Jordan's face where you could look at it all day long?

The entire movie plays out on this set, with T'Challa and Killmonger going hand to hand and Nakia ready for battle.

The film inspired this uber-creative artist cut pieces from a shirt with a traditional African print, and lay them onto her nails with a clear top-coat:

We're still not OK about Zuri, but this mani at least gives him some shred of justice:

We can't stop staring at this artful interpretation of the film:

A look for anyone who wished they could get their hands on all of the Vibranium bling:

Matte nails have never looked this fierce:
