Some Fans of Fenty Beauty Have Said Jaclyn Cosmetics' New Packaging Is Similar to Rihanna’s Makeup Line

“Fenty wants their packaging back.”

Jaclyn Hill has finally unveiled her second collection with Jaclyn Cosmetics, and some on social media pointed out some similarities between its packaging and another noted beauty brand.

Following the ill-fated debut of Jaclyn Cosmetics’ lipsticks, which resulted in major customer backlash for its alleged poor quality, Jaclyn is preparing to launch her upcoming Holiday Collection. Featuring a set of highlighters and brushes, as Allure reports, the YouTuber's products won't be available for customer purchase until November 26, but images of press packages have been shared online, and some accused the creator of using packaging that looked similar to that used by Fenty Beauty.

One Twitter user shared a side-by-side picture of Jaclyn's packaging sent to press and Fenty's setting powder, writing, "Hey @jaclyncosmetics Fenty wants their packaging back." Others also chimed in with similar thoughts shortly after. "Is it just me or did Jaclyn Hill’s PR box remind you of Fenty beauty powders? Lol no hate. Just saying #jaclynhill #FENTY," another person tweeted. "The jaclyn hill cosmetics holiday launch looks awfully similar to Fenty Beauty....." someone finally added.

However, not everyone was on board with the comparison. One fan tweeted their support for Jaclyn, writing, "Jaclyn hill can never catch a break... I feel bad for her tbh. The girl can breathe and y’all will shame her. Comparing her PR PACKAGE/lettering to a fenty product is a reach."

Another person also acknowledged that the shape of the packaging is popular among makeup creators, writing, "The thing is though soooo many people have square or rectangular packaging, but no one cries over those people copying each other. I feel bad on Jaclyn."

Jaclyn's return into the world of makeup comes after the launch of a set of nude lipsticks in May. For the launch, customers had come forward to claim product inconsistencies, noting their products allegedly contained fuzzy bits that looked like hair, bubbles, and had a gritty texture. Jaclyn Cosmetics had responded and later offered a full refund. Jaclyn then took some time away from social media, but later returned to issue an apology.
