Fans can't help but want Tiffany 'New York' Pollard and Flavor Flav to get back together

The reunion reality show fans have been praying for has finally taken place. Flavor Flav and Tiffany “New York” Pollard have reconnected, and people are hoping this is more than just a onetime meet-up.

Both Pollard and Flav took to Instagram on Thursday afternoon to post photos of the pair catching up, and commenters are not-so-subtly hinting that they hope there are more picture-perfect moments of the former couple to come.

The pair first connected on the Bachelor-esque VH1 reality show Flavor of Love, in which women vied for the Public Enemy rapper’s affections as he searched for a soulmate. Pollard was one of the contestants. And while Flav rejected her twice on Seasons 1 and 2 — “It was almost like he stabbed me in my back,” Pollard told BuzzFeed recently — she was a clear fan favorite.

She went on to score her own shows — I Love New York, New York Goes to Hollywood, and New York Goes to Work — and appear on a slew of others, most recently Famously Single.

Flav and Pollard were hilarious together, but their spark didn’t last. “I feel like he’s sick of hearing about me every day,” she recently told the Cut, explaining why they drifted apart. “People come up to him all the time about me.” She told BuzzFeed their friendship is “very distant, but very respectful.”

However, fans are still holding out hope. Pollard’s post with Flav has garnered more than 70,000 likes since she first posted it on Thursday and tons of comments suggesting that the two get back together. “Omg! Please get back together,” someone wrote. “Marry her already!” another fan said. “Get back together ❤❤,” someone suggested. “Kiss him lol,” one follower wrote. “And he better pick you this time!!!😭😭,” one commenter warned. “I wish y’all would stop playin & be that power couple I know y’all can be ❤,” another said. “Can you please just get married.”

But some fans don’t necessarily need a romantic reunion, just a reunion of any sort. “Can we get a show with u 2?! I still watch old shows with u 2 lol,” one follower asked. “I love y’all together as lovers or friends. I think @vh1 should give you both a show again … together,” someone else suggested. “Nostalgia!!!! Yasss! Is there gonna be a next season? Pls say yes.”

As for what’s next for the pair? Only time (and Flav’s clocks) will tell.
