FAMU football lands former 4-star running back, Pitt transfer A.J. Davis

Even with the start of fall football practice on the horizon, that doesn't mean Florida A&M has stopped recruiting.

On Friday, the Rattlers landed former 4-star running back Anthony Davis Jr. from the University of Pittsburgh.

FAMU now features eight running backs on the roster including Davis, a graduate transfer.

The 6-foot, 225-pound running back hails from Lakeland, where he earned Class 7A All-State second team honors at Lakeland High in 2017.
