"P Valley" Season 2 Is Here And This Is What I NEED From The Story
Yo Gotti said, "it goes down in the DM," but the residents of Chucalissa, MS would beg to differ. Because where it really goes down is in P Valley. Pussyland was the opening episode, and it seems to foretell the rest of the season. Uncle Clifford, Mercedes, and everyone associated with the Pynk will have a lot going on, and here are a few things I think we can expect to rise out of the valley.
1.Royal Rumble

Autumn bought the Pynk via auction when Season 1 concluded for $250,000. We didn't see how her role as the owner would play out, but in the opening episode, we already see the clashing dynamics of Autumn and Uncle Clifford. Now only a 15% owner, Clifford struggles to figure out his bearings. He knows who should be on the poll, how they should be dropping it, and which Uncle Clifford's rule needs to be enforced next. However, Autumn wants Clifford and everyone else to know that the Pynk has a new owner in town.
Before the season is over, wigs will fly, and eyelashes will be left behind as those two battle it out for who's really in charge.
2.Mercedes The Maybach

Say what you want, but Mercedes is the face of the Pynk. I mean, yes, she left for a minute, and Keyshawn took the proverbial crown in her absence. Nevertheless, none of that changed Mercedes' "OG" status at the club.
Desperate to get back out of the game and open up her dance studio for young girls, Mercedes is playing nice (the best way she can) to make sure she earns top dollar, and everyone knows who the head woman in charge really is.
Mercedes may not have an equity share in the Pynk, but you can guarantee she will be putting her stilettos down to take what's hers. It's a reason why the Pussyland experience had a Mercedes experience!
3.Uncle Clifford, The Mayor?
Mayor Tydell Ruffin dies due to complications with COVID-19. While his death is tragic, we all know the tension that existed between Clifford and Mayor Ruffin. Uncle Clifford makes a bold statement (maybe in jest) about challenging him in the upcoming special election with an interim mayor in place.
While I don't think Cliff will actually put his name on the ballot, I wouldn't be surprised if he is pretty involved in how politics shape the future of the Pynk and the city.
Uncle Clifford may never dawn city hall in an official capacity, but he is the people's mayor. Chucalissa isn't in the show me state, but the people will prove that Clifford is the one in charge of that city.
4.A One-Way Ticket Out

Lil Murda struggled with his rap career during the beginning of season one. After connecting with DJ Never Scared, he landed a hit with the catchy song, Mississippi Pride.
He has never looked to capitalize on his current success; he has put in real work in his in-home studio to create a plan to get out of Chucalissa. It may be home for those who are there, but for Murda, it feels like a trap.
Lil Murda wants out, and I believe he will attempt to achieve that by any means necessary While he and Uncle Clifford have a toxic relationship, the cosmos will bring them back together out of necessity for both of their success. This is why I also believe that we will end season two with him still in Chucalissa.
5.A Not So Holy Experience
Pastor Patrice Woodbine is everything Christianity shouldn't be. And while her appearance in the opening episode was brief, we can see that her "philanthropic acts" has made her a popular figure in the city. Although, the opening scene suggests she has her fair share of haters.
Patrice and Mercedes have a real love-hate (heavy on the hate) relationship. Although Mercedes was able to get a new building for her emerging studio, the past of her mother's betrayal lingers. Somewhere, somehow, Pastor Patrice is going to come creeping out of the church and down to the Pynk to extort money out of Mercedes.
Will we see her turn another blind eye to some twerking to have space for her holy dance? Absolutely!
6.The Great Escape
Unfortunately, Keyshawn, better known as Ms. Mississippi, was in a bitter, abusive relationship. When the Pynk's security officer, Diamond (who also loved Keyshawn), attempted to defend her honor while also defending himself, she pulled a gun on him.
In Episode 1, we see that Diamond and Keyshawn have not reconciled. We also see that Uncle Clifford and Mercedes no longer associate with her because of the gun incident. However, Keyshawn believes she ultimately did it to protect Diamond from killing her abusive boyfriend and then landing himself in jail.
Whether you agree with Keyshawn or the others, Ms. Mississippi wants to get out of her relationship. This season, she seems a little more fed up and ready to make that move than before. Already crafting schemes to get out of the house and planning a 12-city tour with Lil Murda, Keyshawn strategizes her escape.
The abusive boyfriend will be a significant speed bump in the plan, but I believe she will repair her broken relationships and get out of that situation.
7.Slot Machines and Roulette Tables

The backstory of season one was that a casino was being planned for Chucalissa, and it needed the Pynk's land to make it happen. With the death of Mayor Ruffin, one would think the casino's plan would be halted. But, a quick message from the interim mayor proved otherwise.
The casino will get approved, and this season will continue the battle of trying to acquire the Pynk's land to make it happen. However, closing the Pynk for good would mean the show's end, and we are far from done here.
There will be a long, nasty battle for acquisition, but I believe the two entities will find a way to coexist.
