Everything we know about Sex/Life season 3 so far
While we're still thinking about that prosthetic penis from season one, Sex/Life season 2 is our latest binge-watch on Netflix, and already we're looking ahead to see if there will be more episodes and a season 3 of the steamy show. Here's everything we know about a potential Sex/Life season 3, from expected release date to cast and more.
Has Sex/Life season 3 been confirmed?
The short answer is no, Netflix haven't said much in the way of confirmation about a season 3 of Sex/Life. But that doesn't mean it won't happen. The show was a runaway success in season 1, and it wasn't until three months later that the follow up was confimred.
Season one was released in June 2021, and Netflix revealed on 27 September 2021 that a season two was happening. Speaking of the second season, creator and showrunner Stacy Rukeyer said (via Digital Spy), "Sex/Life is a dream come true. To create a show about empowered female sexuality that has entranced so many millions of viewers is not only immensely fun but also incredibly gratifying.
"When I think about all the women who have reached out from all over the world to say that the show speaks to them in a deeply personal way, I am so inspired. I'm thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to continue telling this story for Billie, and for all of us."
Who might star in Sex/Life season 3?
It's hard to imagine Sex/Life without the lead characters:

In season two, the show introduced us to a whole host of new characters:

Given that fact, it's likely a whole new bunch of faces will be introduced for a third season, and we may not be saying 'hello' again to all of the characters we know so far.
When might Sex/Life season 3 be released?
Season one of Sex/Life dropped on Netflix in June 2021, before season two was confirmed in September 2021. It wasn't until March 2023 that the second season dropped on Netflix.
Following this pattern, if Sex/Life season 3 was confirmed by June 2023, we shouldn't expect it on our screens until late 2025 - which feels like an actual age. Anything you can do to speed up our favourite show, Netflix?!
