Eagle eye fans noticed that over the weekend Selena unfollowed Zayn on Instagram, hinting at a potential breakup. Selena has 424 million followers, but only follows a select few hundred people. This has caused fans to believe that Zayn and Selena's rumored romance has ended.

Of course, earlier this June, Selena made it very clear she was single when she announced it to a group of soccer players.

Selena also appeared to have unfollowed Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, and her sister Bella Hadid. Gigi and Zayn share a daughter Khai together.

According to People, a source close to Gomez said that is no bad blood or drama: “There are absolutely no hard feelings with anyone she unfollowed.”

However, Zayn unfollowed Selena hours after the news of her unfollowing him spread. He also archived all his photos on Instagram (although there were none of Selena and him to begin with) so maybe he's just on an Insta cleanse. 🤷♀️

At the start of the unfollowing frenzy, Gigi Hadid still followed Selena, but as of June 29, fans noticed that the model had unfollowed Selena back. Bella Hadid didn't follow Selena, to begin with. None of them have commented on their rumored relationship or feud.

According to Page Six, an insider claimed the rumored coupled dated "way back" when Sel's bestie Taylor Swift was involved with Zayn's 1D bandmate Harry Styles in 2012. A woman posted a TikTok claiming to have gotten the inside scoop on the duo’s dinner from her friend who worked as a hostess at the restaurant they were dining at. According to a screenshot of a text from the TikToker’s friend, Sel and Zayn walked into the restaurant “hand in hand” and were “making out.”

An eyewitness confirmed the PDA-packed date with Entertainment Tonight. "Selena and Zayn went out in SoHo in New York City last night at around 10:30 PM," the source said. "They walked in holding hands and were kissing. Most restaurant staff and restaurantgoers didn't notice them." According to the insider, "It seemed like they were comfortable together, and it was clear that it was a date."
