Netflix’s newest documentary, Our Father, which airs this week, tells the shocking story of controversial Indiana fertility specialist Dr. Donald Cline. In case you’re not familiar with the story, Cline used his own sperm to artificially inseminate women who visited his fertility clinic, helping them conceive a child by disguising his own semen as donor sperm.

Cline’s scheme was eventually exposed after many of his offspring took at-home DNA tests and connected with their half siblings online. “When I opened up Ancestry, I had over 3,000 hits," one of Cline's children says in the documentary.

But the bizarre story was able to reach millions thanks to the hard work of local reporter Angela Ganote, a FOX59 morning news anchor. “This was a person in a position of power,” Angela says in the doc. “He’s known in our community as a philanthropist. He’s an elder of the church.”

Her initial reporting on Dr. Cline helped bring the celebrated fertility doctor's shady scheme to light. But where is Angela now? Women's Health did some digging. Here’s what you need to know:

First of all, who is Angela?

Angela is an Indiana native, and is originally from Brownsburg, according to her Fox59 bio. The station she works for is based out of Indianapolis, and she likely lives in the area. She became a TV reporter after graduating from Indiana State University, where she was a cheerleader. She's still a big football fan.

Angela says in her work bio that her “favorite” thing is “being a mom and wife.”

According to her Facebook posts, Angela is married to Bradd DeBello, a sales manager in Indianapolis who also coaches football. The couple have two teenaged kids together—Ashlyn and Brock—who keep “the family busy at the baseball fields and volleyball courts,” she writes.

Wait, so how did she come across this story in the first place?

Well, it kind of came to her. One of Cline's many secret children, Jacoba Ballard, sought Angela out to share her strange story. When Ballard realized that she had at least seven biological siblings that she'd never heard of, she wanted to get more information about what had gone on behind closed doors at Cline's clinic, per Fox59.

A story was published on the Fox59 site on May 12, 2015, detailing the confusion and strife a woman (who went by the pseudonym "Carrie") went through after realizing she was not an only child, but actually had several siblings she'd never known about. “Seven years ago, I could’ve never imagined. Actually, all I could do was imagine it,” Ballard said in a recent interview with Fox59.

“The film is insane,” Angela wrote on Facebook of the documentary. “Jacoba wanted the truth and she found it.”

What happened after the story broke?

Dr. Cline eventually confessed to using his own sperm to impregnate his patients without their knowledge, Fox59 says. He was fined $500.

Since the initial story broke, more siblings have come out of the woodwork. And as of now, nearly 100 children fathered by Cline have been located.

What is Angela doing now?

Seven years later, she's still out there doing in-depth local reporting! She also looks like she's staying super busy being a mom to her teens.

Angela still calls Fox59, where she’s worked since 2001, home, according to her LinkedIn profile. She’s now the morning news anchor and frequently posts updates about her newest interviews and stories on her Facebook page.

During her 20 years at the outlet, she has racked up four Emmy awards so…she’s doing OK for herself. Angela calls her Emmy wins her “greatest TV moment” in her bio. “I was able to tell the story of one of my fellow cheerleaders at I.U. She lost an amazing battle with ALS, but before she died she was an inspiration many will never forget,” she writes.
