Still on the fence about signing up? Or just want to know more about what you can expect?

Here's everything you need to know about Paramount+.

What is Paramount+?

If you used to be a subscriber of CBS All Access, then Paramount+ probably won't seem much different. The new subscription service will serve as the hub for several channels and brands under the CBSViacom umbrella including CBS, BET, MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, and the Smithsonian Channel. Along with being the home for these channels and their huge libraries, they will also have their own original content, like Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years, or the first place where episodes of certain shows will air first before going to their respective channel, like Younger.

How much is it to subscribe to Paramount+?

There are two different tiers available for new subscribers. The ad-free premium plan is $9.99 per month or $99.99 a year. The ad-supported base plan is $5.99 per month or $59.99 a year. For the brand new launch, new subscribers who use the code MOUNTAIN will be able to try out Paramount+ for a month before they get charged, so it's the perfect time to try to see if it's something you'll actually use in the long-term. Also, if you're a student, you can qualify for a 25% off discount.

When will Paramount+ launch?

The brand new streaming service officially became available on March 4, 2021.

Can you watch sports on Paramount+?

Just like CBS All Access, Paramount+ will give you access to a number of different sports leagues including NFL, Masters, PGA TOUR, NCAA, SEC, The PGA Championship, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, National Women’s Soccer League, Concacaf and more.

Where can I watch Paramount+?

Luckily, they've made it watch Paramount+ from wherever you are. Not only are there apps on Android and the iOS store for you phones and tablets, you can also use devices like an AppleTV, Fire TV, Chromecast, PS4, XBOX One, and Roku to watch. Qualifying smart TVs made by LG, VIZIO, and Samsung will also have the app available.
