Everything We Know About Meghan Markle's NYC Baby Shower
Meghan Markle's surprise New York City vacation isn't only a girls' trip. It's also her long-planned baby shower. Multiple outlets have reported that Meghan will be celebrating her and Prince Harry's first baby with her closest friends today in Manhattan. Here, all the details about the shower-including its celeb-filled guest list-that have emerged so far. This post will be updated as more information comes out.
The Guests
Meghan will have 15 guests at her baby shower, including Priyanka Chopra and Suits costar Abigail Spencer, Omid Scobie told Good Morning America. "Today's baby shower is a reunion of sorts for Meghan," Scobie said. "[Guests] include best pal Jessica Mulroney, actress and close pal Abigail Spencer has flown in and Priyanka Chopra is supposed to be flying in especially for this from London Fashion Week." Meghan's "closest friends" have come in for the celebration.
While Meghan's guests aren't likely to share a lot about the shower on social media, Abigail Spencer did hint she was on her way to New York City on her own Instagram Story.
Jessica Mulroney, meanwhile, has been in New York for days. She appeared on Good Morning America last week.

The Location and Time
According to Page Six, the shower will be at a hotel on the Upper East Side. Meghan's friend Jessica Mulroney is believed to have organized the party and coordinated everything.
This week was chosen specifically because it's the last chance for Meghan to travel before the baby is due, Scobie explained on Good Morning America. "The trip was planned some months ago and, with [with an official trip to] Morroco this weekend, is the last available time Meghan can travel before the Baby Sussex is born." he said.
What Else Meghan Will Be Doing in New York City
While Meghan's baby shower is today, the Duchess of Sussex spent the weekend "catching up with some of her closest friends, visiting favorite spots in the city and even shopping for baby clothes," Scobie told Good Morning America.
Meghan was seen at Ladurée in Soho having macarons and tea with friends on Saturday, E!, Us Weekly, and Harper's Bazaar reported. “They were having a lovely time, laughing and talking with each other,” an eyewitness told Us.
Meghan was also seen shopping at Bonpoint nearby in Soho, a high-end children's clothing store, Us Weekly reported. She's staying a five-star hotel in the city, Scobie reported for Harper's Bazaar.
