Mae Muller has just been announced as the UK’s entry for Eurovision 2023, and we are so excited!
The 25-year-old singer and songwriter will perform her track ‘I Wrote a Song’ at the contest in Liverpool in May.
She hopes to follow the success of Sam Ryder, who came second in the competition last year and gave the UK its best result in more than 20 years.

Who is Mae Muller?
Mae – whose full name is Holly Mae Muller – is a 25-year-old singer-songwriter from Kentish Town, London.
She is best known for her song ‘Better Days’ with Neiked and Polo and is no stranger to the limelight, as was when she was just nine-years-old, she starred in Mika’s music video for ‘Grace Kelly’ – too cute!
She has also been nominated for an MTV Award and worked with some of our favourite artists like Little Mix and Marshmello.

Mae will perform her track ‘I Wrote a Song’ at the Eurovision Song Contest this year.
Very relatable, she wrote it about an ex-boyfriend. "I was really annoyed at this guy,” she explained on TikTok.
“I wanted to do something crazy, maybe burn his house down, I don't know. But, instead, I took the high road and I wrote a song. And that's called growth, ladies and gentlemen."
