Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are legally married! TMZ was the first to report that the couple, who got engaged in October 2021, made their steamy romance official on paper—in Santa Barbara on May 15 surrounded by a few close friends and family. According to sources, the couple got all of the legal paperwork together before their upcoming wedding celebration in Italy.

This comes one month after their surprise, "practice" wedding on April 4 in Las Vegas, just hours after the Grammy Awards where the reality star and rock star were spotted packing on the PDA. And in true Vegas style, an Elvis impersonator officiated the ceremony.

Kardashian confirmed the Vegas wedding news on Instagram, sharing, "Found these in my camera roll. Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license). Practice makes perfect."

And that's not the only reason tongues are wagging—fans are excited over the news that the reality star and Poosh founder, 42, and the former Blink-182 rocker, 45, are actively trying for a baby. Here are all the details—so far.

What Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's Blended Family Looks Like Now

The buzzworthy duo are both proud parents. Kardashian shares three children—Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 6—with ex Scott Disick. Travis Barker shares stepdaughter Atiana, 22, son Landon, 17, and daughter Alabama, 15, with ex Shanna Moakler, to whom he was married from 2004 to 2008.

As for plans to add a seventh child to their brood? A new trailer for Hulu's The Kardashians makes it clear that Kardashian and Barker are trying. And previously, a source told E! back in October, not long after the couple's engagement was announced, that they would "love nothing more than to have a baby together. Kourtney has always wanted another baby and never felt like she was done." A second insider noted, "Now that she's with Travis, she wants it even more."

The Latest on Kourtney and Travis' Baby Plans

Kardashian and Barker might have just gotten married, but fans and followers can't seem to wait for a baby announcement. And a trailer for the Poosh founder and family's new Hulu show The Kardashians is stoking the fire.

In the clip, released in March, Kardashian notes, "Travis and I want to have a baby." Viewers are then treated to a few glimpses inside their doctor visits, which appear to involve fertility treatment.

In one scene, the couple's doctor asks for a "sample," before Kardashian jokes, "We'll take our mics off so you don't get the audio."

In another shot, Barker kisses Kardashian's hand as she lies down at a doctor's visit.

In another teaser for the show, Kardashian explains to her mom Kris Jenner that she and Barker have been undergoing IVF and "it hasn't been the most amazing experience."

She adds, "I'm, like, it's so rude to comment on people when you have no idea what they're going through."

The Problem With Kourtney Kardashian Pregnancy Speculations

It's not the first time the mom of three has called out rude commentary related to her reproductive well-being. Following a slew of PDA-packed social media posts over the course of the year, Kardashian posted a series of photos in a hot tub recently, and commenters were quick to assume she was flaunting "a preg belly."

Kardashian was quick to respond: "Are we really gonna do this every time I post a photo?"

In August, after sharing a series of images in which she was baring her midriff, a commenter declared, "SHE'S PREGNANT," to which Kardashian stated, "I'm a woman with a BODY."

The repeated back-and-forths have sparked not only tongue-wagging about Kardashian and Barker's family plans, but also discussions around just how inappropriate it is to blindly, blatantly jump to conclusions about a woman's body, shape, size, etc. It's one thing to say you can't wait to hear if the couple is expecting a baby at some point; it's quite another to make assumptions based on nothing more than photos of Kardashian's stomach. Sadly, Kardashian, her sisters, and pretty much every other mom in the public eye is no stranger to toxic, fatphobic commentary. In fact, Kardashian clapped back in May 2020 when a different Instagram post sparked another round of pregnancy rumors, writing, "I have given birth three amazing times, and this is the shape of my body. This is me when I have a few extra pounds on, and I actually love it."

The Bottom Line on Kardashian and Barker's Future Baby

While fans might be eager to see both stars add to their broods with a new baby—and Kardashian did freeze her eggs when she was 39, which may be a factor that's now in play as she and Barker undergo IVF—everyone needs to hold their horses and wait to flip out until the couple announces a pregnancy, when and if they find themselves expecting.
