However, Jason Sudeikis recently suggested it could be "the end of this story" in an interview with Deadline. "The fact that folks will want more and are curious beyond more than what they don’t even know yet—that being Season 3—it’s flattering."

He went on to say that the show's fans will have to watch how the upcoming season unfolds to see if they still feel like they need more afterwards. So, season 3 of Ted Lasso seems like it may be the last hoorah for the series, but not necessarily the story as a whole!

When posed with the question of potential spinoffs, Sudeikis expressed that he thinks his team has "set the table for all sorts of folks…to get to watch the further telling of these stories.” Deadline reports that Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt, and Joe Kelly (who helped Sudeikis bring the show to life) are all seemingly open to the idea to a spinoff.
