People Are Cheering At What Deepti Said To Shake At The Altar On "Love Is Blind," And I'm Right There With Them

🚨Warning! Massive Love Is Blind Season 2 spoilers ahead!🚨

If you've finished Season 2 of Love Is Blind, then you already know how things turned out between Deepti and Shake at the altar.

But just in case, 🚨spoiler alert 🚨: Deepti said no.

One of the recurring issues this season was Shake's apparent lack of "instinctual attraction" (his words) towards Deepti. Throughout the season, he repeatedly told pretty much everyone that he wasn't physically attracted to his fiancée, even saying that he sees her as an "aunt."

Now, it's worth remembering that this was Shake's initial reaction to seeing Deepti in person for the first time ⬇️:

In a recent interview with BuzzFeed, Deepti opened up about seeing this season's footage for herself and how Shake's words impacted her.

"Shake and I had conversations about how physical intimacy and that chemistry was lacking between us," Deepti said. "But to watch it back and see how he did it — it was kind of like, 'Oh, look at me, I'm this cool dude that's just gonna talk shit about you to my friends.' You don't talk about somebody who is your fiancé, let alone a best friend — or even just a real friend — that way."

Deepti also added that it was "disappointing" for her family to learn of Shake's behavior after they'd welcomed him into their home. Recently, her brother Sunny made a lengthy Instagram post defending Deepti and calling out Shake's "awful and cringeworthy" behavior.

Now, back to the wedding episode. When the moment came down to it, Deepti knew exactly what she wanted and what she deserved.
