The White Lotus season two is approaching its dramatic finale next week, with the final episode "Arrivederci" dropping on 11th December. After six intense weeks of deceit, betrayal and Italian sun, we will finally find out who the dead body is.

Dead body? Yep, remember all the way back in the beginning of the first episode Daphne discovers a dead body? After chatting to a few hotel guests and raving about the hotel, she goes for a dip in the ocean, only to discover a dead body floating next to her. Hotel manager Valentina is called to the scene, where Rocco tells her a number of hotel guests have been discovered dead.

So far the only people we know aren't dead are Daphne (Meghann Fahy) and Valentina (Sabrina Impacciatore). This then leaves a big question as to the identity of the body.

Since the start of the series fans have been theorising over who died, and this is every single theory we have so far.

Quentin kills Tanya

The last episode has revealed the rich and mysterious Quentin (Tom Hollander) actually knows Greg (Jon Gries), and fans have been theorising heavily Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge) could be about to die.

To recap: Greg leaves Tanya alone on holiday to go back "to work" aka continue his affair. Tanya then meets Quentin, and the pair get on ridiculously well. Then, during episode five Quentin tells a story about when he fell in love with a straight cowboy and explained he would do anything for the man. Even murder?

Tanya later discovers a picture of Greg and Quentin together in Quentin's villa, essentially confirming the theory that Greg is Quentin's cowboy.

Therefore some fans have theorised Quentin could end up killing Tanya out of love for Greg, or in order to get her money for Greg.

Others have theorised on TikTok that Greg and Quentin are actually working together to kill Tanya, and that Greg never actually left Palermo.

Given that Quentin recorded Tanya cheating with Niccoló, some fans think there's a possibility there could be a cheating clause in her pre-nup with Greg, which would then allow him to have access to her millions.

However, it's also unlikely Tanya would die as The White Lotus creator Mike White has specifically spoken about including Tanya in future seasons of the show.

Speaking ahead of season two he said: "Jennifer is my friend and everybody loved her in the first season, and I was like, ‘I can’t go to Italy without Jennifer.’ And maybe that’s still the case.

“Like, maybe you can’t go to Japan without Jennifer, either. There are so many fun actors we’ve worked with so far, so it’s just kind of like who’s available.”

So is that confirmation Tanya survives? Or was that a way to throw us off the plot?

Tanya kills Greg or Quentin

The reverse of this theory is that Tanya is the one to do the killing. At the end of episode six we see a gun, so we can pretty much guess the gun is going to come up in next week's episode.

Could Tanya turn around once she's discovered Greg and Quentin's supposed plot and shoot either one or both of them?

Lucia scams the Di Grassios and it goes horribly wrong

Throughout The White Lotus Lucia (Simona Tabasco) has gotten to know all the men of the Di Grassio family pretty well, first with dad Dominic (Michael Imperioli) and in the more recent episodes the son Albie (Adam DiMarco).

In episode five, Lucia is accosted by a man called Alessio, who claims to be her pimp and says she owes money to him.

In the next episode Lucia tells Albie she can't leave until she pays Alessio the money she owes him, presumably either from her night with Cameron or with Albie. However, some fans think this as not as simple as it may appear.

Some are theorising Alessio is not actually a man Lucia owes money to and she is in fact conspiring with him, in order to con the Di Grassios out of their money.

This could then leave a lot of options when it comes to the identity of the dead body. Acting out of love, Albie could kill Alessio as he believes he is a threat to Lucia. Or Albie could end up in an altercation with Cameron over the money and one of them ends up dead.

Alessio could end up actually being someone Lucia owes money to and when he doesn't get it, he could act out in revenge and kill Cameron or Albie for not paying Lucia.

Ethan kills Cameron

The tension between Ethan (Will Sharpe) and Cameron (Theo James) has been steadily rising throughout the series.

Starting with their conversations about their times at college and Cameron constantly teasing Ethan. Then it was Cameron's insistence on Ethan investing his money with him and most recently Ethan's suspicion that something is going on between Cameron and Harper (Aubrey Plaza).

It wouldn't be a complete surprise if the tension all amounts into a massive fight and in a rage, Ethan ends up killing Cameron.

The statue story could come true

In the first episode Harper, Ethan, Cameron and Daphne inquire about the statue "Testa di moro" that is seen throughout the hotel.

Valentina explains the statue is based on a folklore story that goes as follows: "The story is a Moor came here a long time ago and seduced a local girl. But then she found out that he had a wife and children back home. So, because he lied to her, she cut his head off."

This story could definitely foreshadow the ending of The White Lotus. Taken technically the local girl in this instance would be Lucia who is seduced by Cameron, and therefore she gets her revenge on him. However, Lucia is definitely not concerned that Cameron is married so that doesn't seem to add up.

Instead what may be more telling is Daphne's response to Valentina's story. After the story is told, Daphne says: "It’s a warning to husbands, babe. Screw around and you’ll end up buried in the garden."

Given this quote it's more of a foreshadowing that either Daphne or Harper kill their husbands.

We know Daphne is aware her husband cheats on her, but maybe the discovery he does it whilst they're on a holiday together is too much for her to handle and she kills him? It seems unlikely but not impossible.

Giuseppe kills Mia

In episode four Giuseppe (Federico Scribiani) nearly dies after Mia (Beatrice Grannò) gives him the wrong pill by accident. Whilst it's incredibly chaotic, the moment gives Mia the opportunity to become the hotel singer and further her career.

We haven't seen much of Giuseppe since his accident, but maybe in the final episode he will return and exact his revenge on Mia for what she did to him?

Bert dies, but it's not a murder

We hate to say it but there's a big chance Bert (F. Murray Abraham) the Di Grassio grandfather dies, however this is likely to be from old age rather than any sinister plot.
