Every Inch of This Home Was Designed to Help You Live a Happier, Fuller Life
We all think about what we should be doing to our homes—cleaning, re-designing, fixing—but what if your home could do more for you? Imagine building your dream space to not only be beautiful, but do draw you in, activate all of your senses, and make you feel happier from the moment you open the door. This was our goal when we built this year's Whole Home Concept House, our 6,201-square-foot haven in Nashville, with builder Castle Homes and architect Kevin Coffey.
The idea was simple: Ask designers from across the country to think about decorating differently and to create rooms in which every design element has a purpose, and every room evokes a feeling. We filmed every step of the journey (airing Thursdays at noon ET on House Beautiful's YouTube channel, starting Oct. 17), and the result is more than a home—it’s an experience that brings you joy, energy, calm, and focus. One that will help you understand how to make every room in your home work harder, better, and more beautifully than it ever has.
