If you haven’t been keeping up, Troye Sivan has been quietly making his Australian tour a playground for wild stylistic experimentation. With the help of stylist Marc Sebastian Faiella, he’s been performing in a series of heavily-themed (and extremely chic) ensembles. First, he cosplayed as a 1999 version of Pamela Anderson—corset and baby pink marabou included, naturally—then, he conjured up an angel with wings and a halo. Last but not least, Sivan transformed into a spot-on imitation of 1974, Ziggy Stardust-era David Bowie.
Even though Sivan’s homecoming tour might be over, he’s still sharing enviable, behind-the-scenes looks from his Bloom tour wardrobe. Sivan posted a so-called “tour outtake” to his Instagram over the weekend, that shows the artist in a feather-lined, iridescent purple Palomo Spain shirt that’s cinched at the waist, thanks to a lavender belt with a crystal-lined belt buckle. If one of your fashion throwaways is this opulent, then you can feel safe in the knowledge that the rest of your onstage outfits were nothing short of extraordinary.
