If you’ve ever wanted to stay in the home where Lord Voldemort’s snake Nagini ambush-attacked Harry Potter on Christmas Eve during the Second Wizarding War, then you’re in luck. De Vere House, a 14th Century home located across the pond in the countryside of Lavenham, Suffolk, is a former five-star, acclaimed luxury bed-and-breakfast destination. It’s among the more than 300 protected heritage properties in the medieval village, too. And, oh right, it’s seen in the Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One, as Harry’s birthplace. After the home hit the market in the summer of 2017, it was finally purchased and is now listed on Airbnb.

At De Vere House, guests can rent a room with one bed and its own in-suite bathroom.

At $154 per night, the room can comfortably fit two people and includes a TV, Wi-Fi, a private guest sitting room with a log fire, and access to a courtyard garden.

In the morning, you’ll even get a full English breakfast in the dining room in the main house.

The best part of the experience are the hosts, though. According to the Airbnb description, the hosts live in the main house and “love talking about its history and that of [the] amazing village.” They also have guide books and maps of the area on-hand for guests to borrow. “Excellent venue and wonderful history,” one reviewer wrote in August.

Book the room asap, though; November is completely booked up; and at the time this story went live, the only available dates in December were Dec. 20, 21, and 22. Even January is at capacity, save for one date, Jan. 11.
