Disney's remake of The Lion King has finally been released, and the cast is pretty excited about it.

In an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote the movie, actor Billy Eichner told the host, "We had a royal premiere." Eichner, who voices Timon in The Lion King, explained that despite being a worldwide superstar, even Beyoncé was nervous about meeting the British royals.

"Prince Harry and Meghan Markle came, and Beyoncé was there, and Sir Elton John was there. And I was there, randomly." He continued, "And it was great, and we were all kind of nervous, even Beyoncé." This surprised Kimmel who asked, "Really?" and then said, "They should be bowing to her!"

Eichner replied, "That’s true, actually. She’s our American royalty." And as for why he was quite so nervous about meeting the duke and duchess, the American Horror Story and Difficult People actor explained, "But what makes you nervous is in the days leading up to it, they email you a protocol of how you’re supposed to greet Prince Harry and they’re very intense about it. I’m not kidding."

Eichner also shared a hilarious video on Instagram of himself preparing to meet the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. He captioned the clip, "Caught on video last night completely freaking out to @sethrogen about how to greet Prince Harry and Meghan. 😂😂😂":

Basically, even a superstar like Beyoncé gets a tad nervous when she meet members of the royal family for the first time, just like the rest of us would.
