Eva Longoria Is Picture-Perfect in Glittery Gold Dress at Cannes
Eva Longoria joined many other stars, including Natalie Portman and Salma Hayek, at the Cannes Film Festival in France. However, her red carpet look definitely stood out among the rest.
The 48-year-old sizzled in a light gold-colored dress covered in a bedazzled pattern and a halter neckline, wearing her hair up in a high pony.
Longoria attended the Magnum Pleasure Is Always On VIP party on Monday, May 22 along with other stars like Nicole Scherzinger and Irina Shayk.

She also participated in the Kering Women in Motion Talk, discussing her work in the entertainment industry and how limited opportunities for Latina directors are.
Longoria said during the panel, "We don’t get a lot of bites at the apple...When was the last Latina-directed studio film? It was like 20 years ago. We can’t get a movie every 20 years.”
"The problem is if this movie fails, people go, ‘Oh Latino stories don’t work… female directors really don’t cut it.’ We don’t get a lot of at-bats. A white male can direct a $200 million film, fail and get another one. That’s the problem," she went on.
The star is currently promoting her feature directorial debut with the film Flamin' Hot, which premiered at SXSW Film Festival and won an Audience Award.
Longoria has also been working for years with various people and organizations–including University of Southern California Annenberg professor and researcher Dr. Stacy L. Smith, who was a part of the talk with her–to research and improve diversity in the film industry.
