Eufy X10 Pro Omni review: a robot vacuum and mop combo that delivers a thorough clean
The Eufy X10 Pro Omni is the latest robot vacuum offering from Eufy, combining effortless vacuuming capability with mop cleaning. As far as wet dry vacuums go, this is an advanced robot vacuum and mop combo that promises to leave your floors and carpets not just free from dust and debris, but wiped clean too.
The MopMaster 2.0 system uses 2.2 lbs of pressure on hard floors during mopping, and the pentagonal design of the mop heads and slightly rounded angles of the robot unit mean corners and edges are no problem. The 8,000Pa suction power, combined with an active self-cleaning and detangling roller brush, promises to tackle pet hair too.

The Eufy X10 Pro Omni retails at $799.99 (£599.99)on the Eufy website and Amazon. While it’s not as expensive as a Dyson Viz Nav or a Samsung JetBot, it's still an expensive piece of kit for many. However, it does pack a punch for its price, with advanced technology, robust and attractive design, amazing 8,000Pa suction (the best we’ve tested) and brilliant self-emptying and cleaning functions.
Eufy focuses specifically on creating smart home products to simplify and enhance everyday tasks, with products that are designed to be user-friendly, affordable, and efficient, often incorporating advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and automation. The Eufy X10 Pro Omni is a perfect example of how advanced tech and AI can combine to create a brilliant, reliable, time-saving robot vacuum and mop combo.
For the price, though, we would have liked to have seen some replacement mop heads and maybe a pack of dustbags thrown in, but that’s a minor quibble.
Eufy X10 Pro Omni: First impressions
Having tested almost a dozen robot vacuums at home and quite a few robot vacuum and mop combos, we were excited to try out the Eufy X10 Pro Omni. With a golden retriever, a cat, a keen gardener and an 11-year-old in the house, there’s no end to dirt, pet dander and debris. As a result, we tend to vacuum daily, so the opportunity to pass this over to a friendly wet dry vacuum was welcome.
Setting up the Eufy X10 Pro Omni is a breeze and only takes around ten minutes. The unit is well packaged in recyclable cardboard and plastic, and the user manual is easy to download via a QR code. All you have to do is remove some labels and safety packaging, fill the water tank, add the ramp to the base unit and hook your vacuum up to the Wi-Fi using the Eufy app. It also came already charged so I could get going straight away.
Before you start, make sure your smartphone is running iOS 11.0 (or above) or Android 8.0 (or above) and the 2.4GHz band wireless signal is enabled on your wireless router.
It’s easy to map out your home, too – and unlike some robot vacuums, it doesn’t take long. The Eufy X10 Pro Omni uses AI.see, which is an artificial intelligence camera, plus 3D obstacle mapping to quickly generate a room map in less than a few minutes, so you don’t need to wait long to try out its cleaning capability.
Once your map is generated, you can set no-go zones, cleaning intensity, cleaning mode (mop or vacuum or Smart clean, which uses both intelligently), schedules for cleaning and much more. You can also connect it to your Amazon Alexa, which is a doddle to do.
Eufy X10 Pro Omni: Design
When combined with the footprint of the self-emptying and refilling base, the Eufy X10 Pro Omni is a beast of a machine, so be sure to take note of the dimensions we’ve provided and ensure you have enough room and clearance space for the unit.
At first glance, it’s relatively stylish, though nothing much to write home about. Encased in matte black/charcoal plastic, both the robot and the base station are robust and well-designed. A detachable ramp allows the robot to slide into the base station.
The station comprises a clean water tank, a dirty water tank and a main dust bin with a disposable dust bag. The tanks slide out for easy emptying and refilling, and both click securely shut. You’ll need to place the base station against a wall on a hard-level surface, ensuring 1.6 feet of clearance space on either side and 4.9 feet to the front of the unit.
The robot itself is a rounded square shape with a low profile, the highest point being the camera on the top, which adds a little extra height. It features three manual buttons at the front: a spot cleaning button, the power button and a recharge button. Lifting the lid reveals the dustbin within the unit, so you can see how much the robot is pulling up before it self-empties into the base station if you wish, or empty directly into your bin.
The pentagonal mops on the underside are removable; you simply pull the mop 'wheel' from the unit and peel away the mophead, which is fastened with sturdy velcro. This makes it easy to pop them in the laundry or rinse them out quickly whenever you need to.
While it may not be the most advanced robot vacuum and mop combo when it comes to design, lacking the bells and whistles of, say, the Dyson Viz Nav or the Samsung Jet Bot AI+, the Eufy X10 Pro Omni is perfectly well-designed, although the base station itself does feel a little bulky in a smaller home.
Eufy X10 Pro Omni: Performance
The Eufy X10 Pro Omni is already charged, so there's no need to hang about for hours while it tops up the battery — you can get going straight away. For the first pass around our ground floor's combination of hard floors, carpets and rugs, I selected Smart mode, which vacuums and mops hard floors while lifting the mops away when it encounters a carpet.
I was seriously impressed with this robot vacuum and mop combo. The Eufy X10 Pro Omni features an AI.See camera, which has an advanced algorithm for real-time obstacle avoidance — it can identify and avoid over 100 obstacles, from slippers to kids’ building bricks. It can even take pictures of obstacles for you to review in the app. Plus LiDAR navigation sensors help it create maps and routes around your home.
All of this great tech means that the Eufy detects obstacles extremely well, with none of the bashing and smashing commonly encountered with other robots. Most robot vacuums I've tested tend to get stuck under chairs occasionally, but not this one.
I was also pleased to see that it coped very well with the thick pile rug in the living room. Most vacuums I've tested have struggled with this rug, usually attempting to climb it and becoming stuck on the edge or pushing underneath it. The Eufy gracefully climbed the pile and continued on its way.
The side edging is also very thorough, with the robot carefully traversing along every room edge, leaving maybe an inch or so, which is better than most. The rotating brush at one side of the robot helps to sweep crumbs and dust under the unit, while the slightly curved edges allow it to get further into corners than standard round vacuums. The low profile also means it can get under furniture very easily, so be prepared for it to motor around underneath the sofa.
In terms of pick-up, it left nothing behind. Pet hair, scattered house plant leaves, oats, cookie crumbs and flour spillages were quickly dispatched, while the Eufy powered up automatically on areas where our retriever likes to have a snooze, detecting more hair and debris and increasing suction power. I also noticed it repeatedly went over areas where it detected more debris, ensuring nothing was left behind.
In low light conditions, the LED headlights automatically turn on, too, so you don’t need to worry about it finding its way around. In fact, at around 50 decibels max, this is a vacuum that you could set up to work its magic overnight, leaving a spotless home to come down to in the morning.
With 180 rotations per minute and 2.2 lbs of downward pressure, the pentagonal dual mop pads can get fairly well into corners and along edges, again leaving around an inch of unmopped flooring. They also lift on carpets and rugs, so your floor furnishings don’t get wet.
The two mops are pentagonal, which allows them to get deeper into corners. While I wouldn’t say this is a mopping vacuum for cleaning very sticky residue (it didn’t cope well with sticky honey) or really grimy floors, the mops do a great job at freshening up the surfaces and mopping away spillages of tea and coffee, leaving a faint gleam behind. It also quickly dealt with soggy cereal, ketchup, milk, muddy water on rainy days, and more.
The app is also super easy to use, with an intuitive interface. I liked the Eufy Lab, where you can try out the latest features in testing, such as the Smart Track Cleaning, which has the robot follow and clean the floor after you, perfect if you’ve just walked in from a muddy afternoon in the garden! You can also look back at your cleaning history, boost your carpet cleaning suction power, set voice control and manually control the wet/dry vac from your phone, among other things.
The Omni station provides hands-free cleaning too, from emptying the on-board dustbin to washing and drying the mops to prevent unpleasant odors. The 2.5L/0.66-gallon dustbag only has to be changed every two months, while the clean water tank can provide enough water to mop a 2,000-square-foot home up to three times before you need to refill. While the self-emptying function is super-handy, it can get a bit noisy (around 50 decibels which is the same as a dishwasher) but it doesn't last long. The mops take a few hours to dry, but you can set the drying time to two or three hours in the app.
What didn't I like? It’s hard to say, as this robot excels at pretty much everything. However, I was reliably informed by the obstacle avoidance system that there was a ‘poop’ in the hallway. I can confirm there was no such poop, so the mystery continues on that one.
Once the robot has done its job, it returns itself to the base station for emptying and cleaning the mops. This is the noisiest part of the process, but it doesn’t last long. The mops are washed and dried, and the dirt and debris are sucked away into the bag within the base unit. There’s zero handling, zero emptying and zero mess for you.
Eufy X10 Pro Omni: Care and maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance keep your Eufy Pro Omni x10 robot vacuum and mop combo performing at its best. Here are some tips:
Remove and empty the dustbin after each use. Simply open the dustbin, tap the sides to dislodge any debris or dust, and then empty over a trash can. The dustbin can be rinsed under running water as needed. Be sure it is completely dry before reinserting into the vacuum.
The reusable filter is easy to remove, rinse, and air dry. Check it every few cleanings and rinse if dirty. Allowing it to dry completely before reinsertion prevents mold buildup.
Use the included brush to untangle hair or threads wrapped around the roller brush and roller guard. These components can also be removed and rinsed under running water to deep clean. Let them air dry fully before reinstallation to prevent damage.
The mop covers detach for machine washing or handwashing. Remove dirt by rinsing under running water and wringing out. Let them air dry before reuse.
Rinse out the dirty water tank after each mopping session. The dust bags need changing every 2 months for optimal suction. Both mop covers and replacement dust bags can be ordered from Eufy's website or Amazon store.
The mop cleaning tray and detachable base ramp can be removed and rinsed under water as required.
Regular upkeep keeps the Eufy looking, running, and cleaning like new. Eufy recommends the following routine for cleaning and replacing:
Once a week: Clean the dust box and filter on the robot vacuum unit.
Once a month: Clean the side brush, brush guard, and roller brush as explained above and wipe down the sensors, charging pins and swivel wheel.
Every 3 - 6 months: Replace the mopping pads, filter, side brush, brush guard and rolling brush if visibly worn.

How does the Eufy X10 Pro Omni compare?
The ECOVACS' DEEBOT X2 OMNI Robot Vacuum and Mop is more expensive than the Eufy X10 Pro Omni, retailing at $1,499.99, but it does pack a lot of features. It also matches the Eufy's super-strength suction of 8000Pa.
If you'd rather control your own wet/dry vacuum, the Ultenic AC1 Cordless Wet Dry Vacuum features a quirky design, a quick and easy setup and four cleaning modes, but it isn't suitable for carpets.
If you're after something a little more stylish than the Eufy X10 Pro Omni, the Yeedi Mop Station Pro features a glossy white design and many of the same features. However, it can't store multiple maps, and the mops don't get right to the edges.
How I tested the Eufy X10 Pro Omni
I used the Eufy X10 Pro Omni for two weeks, testing all the modes available. I used the vacuum to clean up the natural buildup of hair, debris, and dust and also tested it using controlled experiments with oats, cookie crumbs, tea and coffee, and honey and sauces. I cleaned laminate floors, carpets and thick pile rugs with the Eufy X10 Pro Omni and used a decibel meter to record volume output.
