The last two episodes of HGTV's Home Town were the most emotional ones yet. In one, Erin Napier breaks down in tears after discovering that she and Ben are renovating a home that her late grandmother once lived in. Then, the 9o-minute season finale follows a local resident's inspiring path to home ownership, as Ben and Erin repair a house they had perviously renovated that was destroyed by a tornado. Following the touching end of season four, Erin took to social media to share a sweet message to Home Town fans.

On Instagram, she posted photos of the homes and heartwarming moments from the final episodes of the season. "We ended with two of our most special episodes ever," she says in the caption, adding: "I hope they made you smile." Since the season aired as the coronavirus pandemic forced the U.S. to self-isolate, many fans have found comfort watching the show. "We’ve gotten so many messages and letters from you saying #HGTVHomeTown has helped you feel less alone through the quarantine, that it’s been a respite in troubling times. Thank you for watching and making us feel less alone, too. We’re so grateful."

At the end of May, Erin confirmed that Home Town will return for a fifth season. Next week, the Napiers will start filming the highly anticipated season, which is slated to premier in 2021. "I already know it’s going to be another special year," Erin concludes in the caption.
