Erin Krakow Just Gave Fans a Major Update About the Future of ‘When Calls the Heart’

Folks, it looks like we're staying in Hope Valley for a little while longer.
Even though When Calls the Heart season 10 hasn't premiered yet, fans just received a major update about its future on Hallmark. Thanks to an exclusive from Entertainment Tonight, the network revealed that the drama not only got renewed for season 11 but is set to begin its 12-episode production this July. To celebrate the major announcement, Erin Krakow took to Instagram to drop the surprise on her followers.
"@wcth_tv Season 11! I’m over the moon!" she wrote on February 22. "Thank you so much @hallmarkchannel and thank you to our #Hearties - the best fans in the universe!"
As soon as Erin posted the news to social media, it didn't take long for people to pick it up. What's more, they immediately swarmed the actress with their own words of excitement.
"Beyond excited! #Hearties share your joy with endless gratitude! 🥳❤️ #Season11WillBeHeaven," one person wrote on Instagram. "Congratulations on season 11 girly! We are beyond excited to see what Elizabeth and everyone else in Hope Valley is up to. As you said: There are many more stories to tell! 🫶🏼," another person added. "11 years, Erin!! Joyous congratulations to you, your cast mates and the crew. It cannot be said enough 11 years is hard to do. ❤️🙌," a different user responded.
'When Calls the Heart'
With When Calls the Heart season 11 firmly in place, fans may also wonder when season 10 will begin. Luckily, Hallmark didn't leave anyone hanging, because the network shared that the new season will premiere on Sunday, July 30 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Entertainment Tonight added that of the 12 episodes set to air this summer the show will hit its 100th episode milestone.
"I am beyond excited for season 10 of When Calls the Heart to premiere July 30," Erin, who also serves as executive producer, told the outlet. "This season is full of beautiful moments and exciting twists and turns. I can’t wait for the Hearties to see what we’ve created for them! And I’m so thrilled, proud and grateful to Hallmark that the show has been renewed for season 11."
She continued: "We have so many more stories to tell. With our amazing cast, crew, and brilliant writers, there will be no shortage of romance and new adventures for the residents of Hope Valley! Having the Hearties continue this journey with us has meant the world and we are thrilled to share what’s in store these next two seasons!"
