Lisa Marie Presley, the talented singer and daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, has died. She reportedly went into cardiac arrest on Thursday. According to People, a spokesperson from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed that paramedics were sent to a house in Calabasas to help an unresponsive woman. They administered CPR upon arrival, then took her to a local hospital for further care.

Shortly after, Presley’s mother Priscilla, confirmed her daughter had been hospitalized. “My beloved daughter Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital,” she wrote. She is now receiving the best care. Please keep her and our family in your prayers. We feel the prayers from around the world, and ask for privacy during this time.” Later that evening, Presley wrote that Lisa Marie had died.

In a statement provided to People she said, “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.”

Just three days ago, Presley attended the Golden Globes with her mother to celebrate Baz Luhrman’s biopic, Elvis. The film tracks the life of her father, and his impact on the music industry. Lisa Marie grew up to be a musician as well, and released three albums during her career. She is survived by her mother, Priscilla, and her three children, Riley Keough, Finley Aaron Love Lockwood, and Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood.
