After months of anticipation, the second season of One Of Us Is Lying dropped on Netflix, and fans *finally* found out what happened after the "Simon Says" cliffhanger from season one. But how did One Of Us Is Lying season 2 end, and what does it all mean? Here's the explainer you've been looking for.

One Of Us Is Lying season 2 ending explained

In case you need a recap, season one of One Of Us Is Lying ended with the main gang - Addy (Annalisa Cochrane), Cooper (Chibuikem Uche), Bronwyn (Marianly Tejada), Nate (Cooper van Grootel) and Janae (Jessica McLeod) - receiving a text claiming to know who killed Jake (Barrett Carnahan) from "Simon Says."

The same person claiming to be Simon Says continues to anonymously blackmail them throughout season two, before they eventually discover who is sending the threatening messages: new student Fiona (Doralynn Mui). She met Jake during a stint in rehab before his murder.

While attempting to put an end to Fiona's chaos, The Murder Club decide to frame her for Jake's murder, but things don't quite go to plan when she sets fire to Janae's boat, with Addy and Maeve (Melissa Collazo) still inside.

After the police arrest her, Fiona tries to tell Jake's brother Cole (Joe Witkowski) about the video she recorded on Halloween night, where we saw the Murder Club trying to get rid of Jake's body. Cole then tries to learn more about why Jake murdered Simon (we discover in the first season it's because he thinks he's secretly recording him via his Xbox), to which she gives a cryptic and ambiguous answer. Fiona is later poisoned in her cell.

So, what's the One Of Us Is Lying season 2 cliffhanger ending?

Once Fiona is arrested, the Bayview High students attempt to move on from the murders, with Nate promising to never leave Bronwyn by giving her a "Stay" necklace. But things quickly turn dark once more during Graduation Day, when we join the police taking photos of a floor covered in blood. Officers then pick up the very same necklace that Nate gave Bronwyn, insinuating it's either Bronwyn's murder scene, or that she's involved somehow. Um, WTF?

Some fans are already speculating it might have something to do with Cole, who is trying to protect his brother's secrets and the reputation of his family. Others are wondering if Mauve has something to do with it, because she and Bronwyn aren't talking.

Either way, this surely lines us up perfectly for a third season?
