Empire State Building Lights Up Purple and Silver to Honor Queen Elizabeth II

New York’s iconic Empire State Building lit up purple and silver on the night of September 8 in tribute of Queen Elizabeth II.

This footage uploaded to Twitter shows the building glowing purple against the night sky. The Empire State Building’s official Twitter account said the “tower lights will shine in purple and sparkle in silver to honor the life and legacy of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II”.
