Stephen Colbert Makes Emma Stone's Jeopardy Wish Come True

Following applause for the success of Poor Things, Colbert decided to turn Emma's Jeopardy dream into reality.

The La La Land star had disclosed her avid love for the game show, admitting she applies to be on it every year.

Colbert, seizing the opportunity, unveiled some Late Show or Ed Sullivan Theater-themed questions for the actress, which led her to say, "Oh, boy. Now you're going to understand why I haven't gotten on the show."

After posing his initial set of questions, some of which she answered correctly, his final query was: "On January 30, 2024, Emma Stone appeared on The Late Show in support of her outstanding performance and Oscar nomination for this film," Colbert said.

"What is... being here with you tonight?" Stone answered as a joke. Colbert playfully insisted that he was in search of "Poor Things," eliciting laughter from the actress who responded by covering her face with her hands.
