British pottery brand Emma Bridgewater has released two new commemorative mugs to honour the life and service of Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away last month.

Her Majesty died at Balmoral Castle, her much-loved Scottish summer home, on 8th September. She was laid to rest at the King George VI Memorial Chapel in St George's Chapel, Windsor, following a state funeral on 19th September.

In previous years, the Stoke-on-Trent-based brand has produced various keepsake mugs to mark royal events, like the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in February 2022.

The latest design features a pattern of crowns, roses and lions and includes a special backstamp with the monarch’s date of birth and death. It can be personalised to include a special remembrance message – or some sweet words for a loved one.

The second mug features the date of Her Majesty’s birth and death, as well as a traditional crown and lion motif. It also includes a special backstamp honouring her life. It is the first design in a new royal series, to be released by the potter at a later date.

Besides Emma Bridgewater’s designs, there are plenty of other charming Queen Elizabeth II commemorative mugs on offer that make for lovely mementos. Here are some of our favourites below.
