Emirates Is Having a Flash Sale on Flights to Athens and Johannesburg — but It Won’t Last Long
The days may be getting shorter, but at least airfare is getting cheaper.
Emirates is having a flash “Daylight Savings Fare Sale” now through November 12. Round-trip airfare from the U.S. to destinations like Dubai, Johannesburg, Dar es Salaam, Ho Chi Minh City and Lagos are all available for less than $850.
The sale includes flights from Emirates’ 12 hubs in the United States: New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Dallas, Seattle, Houston, Chicago, D.C., Orlando and Miami.
Round-trip getaways are as low as $519 for New York to Athens, or $899 for Los Angeles to Johannesburg.
The airfare is good mostly in the early half of 2020, from winter through mid-spring. If you’re already thinking ahead to Christmas travel gift purchases, the Emirates sale might be one of your best bets.
The Dubai-based carrier is renowned for having one of the best economy class experiences in the world, but if you’re looking to taste the airline’s finer samplings, business class airfare is also included in the Daylight Savings Fare Sale.
Business class airfare includes a chauffeur service pick-up, lounge access and perhaps the most talked-about feature: access to the bar at the back of business class. Through the sale, a round-trip business class ticket from New York to Hyderabad would cost $3,552.

Travelers must book by 11:59 pm EST on November 12 to take advantage of the sale.
