New York Fashion Week is officially under way, and Emily Ratajkowski got the party started by stepping out in a little red dress—which appears to be the same exact Jacquemus piece that Kylie Jenner wore at the brand’s “Les Sculptures” show in France last month.

The dress in question features a draped shawl wrapped delicately around the torso, revealing a sliver of décolletage between the layers of gauzy fabric. Rounded padded shoulders give the ruby-red garb a slightly ’80s structure, while the draping details across the miniskirt add a feminine touch.

When Jenner wore the look in January, she opted for a monochromatic effect by adding a circular red leather handbag and a pair of red pointed-toe slingbacks. She accented the crimson uniform with gold via a chunky gold arm band and gold earrings.

Although Ratajkowski also relied on a red clutch (specifically Jacquemus’s pony hair–covered Le Bambino), she went a different route for her footwear. The My Body author opted for shiny black patent leather heels, with three thin straps across the toes and a wide collar at the ankle.

Red is certainly having its moment this Fashion Month, with the daring shade well on its way to usurping Barbiecore pink as the color of the moment.

Harper’s Bazaar analyzed the shift last fall, noting that red had become a frequent motif on the runway: “Regardless of the specific color, what these pieces have in common is that they all look like the best red lipstick feels. They’re still saturated and bright enough to stop traffic, but they convey power and a sense of elegance—and maybe a little bit of maturity.”
