Emily Ratajkowski just responded to those Brad Pitt dating rumours

Emily Ratajkowski has responded to rumours that she's dating Brad Pitt, sharing a rare update on her current relationship status.

Speculation of a romance between the model and actor first surfaced last month, following reports that Emily, 31, and Brad, 58, had been spotted enjoying an intimate dinner together. At the time, gossip site @DeuxMoi claimed that the pair had been out for a fancy private dinner in Paris, whilePage Six reported that fans should "stay tuned" for the duo as an official item.

Now, Emily herself has spoken out following the rumours, telling fans that she's "newly single".

Speaking to Variety, Emily addressed the topic of online speculation, saying, "I have a generally complicated relationship to the internet as a celebrity."

Apparently 'sidestepping' the subject of Brad Pitt, she continued, "One of the things I write about in the last essay of the book [My Body] is about control and kind of understanding that one of the best ways to actually be happy and have some semblance of control is letting go."

The model then confirmed, "I’m newly single for basically the first time in my life ever, and I just feel like I’m kind of enjoying the freedom of not being super worried about how I’m being perceived."

Dating rumours between Brad and Emily arrived just months after news of the model's divorce from husband of four years Sebastian Bear McClard. Meanwhile, Brad is currently going through a divorce from Angelina Jolie, with the actress recently accusing him of being physically violent to her and her children.
