Emily Ratajkowski Has Officially Kicked Off Trench Coat Season
With temperatures cooling down and hem lengths naturally growing longer, Emily Ratajkowski is leading the way on autumnal dressing.
Yesterday, the model and writer was among this year's attendees for COS's fall winter 2022 runway show during New York Fashion Week. For the outing, she stepped out in a leather trench coat from the beloved minimalist brand. The piece, designed in a luscious shade of slate blue, featured sleek details from the dramatic lapels to the belted waist.
Ratajkowski paired the coat with slouchy black boots and a black Dior saddle bag.

Earlier this week, COS design director Karin Gustafsson spoke to BAZAAR.com about using the brand's latest collection to celebrate creative communities all across New York City.
"It is always incredible to see collections on the body and in movement, and catwalks offer that possibility," Gustafsson said.
She also explained how the runway became a canvas for innovative styling opportunities, from models strutting down with bucket hats pulled over their eyes to the womenswear looks being capped off with sheer black ankle socks and a stiletto sandal.
"We believe that people who wear COS share a sense of style—whether that is through the clothes they wear or other interests such as art or interiors," she added. "Our timeless essentials allow our customers to create a capsule wardrobe they know works, but they are encouraged to express their individuality—it can also be bold, colorful, and versatile."
