Emily Blunt Has One Major Regret About Her Wedding Day

It happens to the best of us, even practically-perfect-in-every-way Emily Blunt. People reports that during an appearance on The Late Late Show With James Corden, Mary Poppins herself told host James Corden that she may have gone a shade or two too dark when she decided to get a spray tan. And it wasn't just the tan, it was the occasion. The unfortunate tinge happened to come just before her wedding day.

"I got a bad spray tan and I would probably change that," Blunt told Corden when he asked her if she'd change anything about her wedding. "I look at the pictures and it just has an orange hue that is unnatural to normal skin color."

Blunt added that she has nobody to blame for the color but herself. She explained that instead of hiring a professional for a spray tan or even just a helping hand with the DIY stuff.

"It was a do-it-yourself. I don't know why I was on a budget on my wedding day!" she said.

Like just about everyone with a self-tanner disaster story, Blunt recalled the ramifications of her thriftiness in vivid detail.

"It was a bit patchy. It stinks and it was a very hot, so if you sweat and you have a spray tan wearing white, [you’re just] seeping orange," she said. "Oh, it was terrible. Yeah, it was bad."

The whole thing happened back in 2010, when Blunt got married to John Krasinsky. They'll be celebrating 10 years of marriage this year and share daughters Violet, 3, and Hazel, 6.
