Emilia Clarke reveals what 'annoyed' her about 'Game of Thrones'

Emilia Clarke, a.k.a. Daenerys Targaryen, recalled the tumultuous end to her time as the Mother of Dragons in a recent interview with the Sunday Times. Clarke admitted she “felt” for her character after Daenerys was killed by Jon Snow. “I really felt for her. And yeah, was I annoyed that Jon Snow didn’t have to deal with something?” she joked. “He got away with murder — literally". Clarke also addressed a popular critique of the show, which was that the final season tried to do too much in too few episodes. “We could have spun it out for a little longer,” she told the newspaper. Her frank words about “Game of Thrones” come as a bit of a surprise, . as her co-star Kit Harrington staunchly defended the show’s storyline in a 2019 interview with “Esquire"
