In case you didn't know, Ellie Kemper is a mom of two! The actress - who you probably know from Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and The Office - welcomed a second child with her comedian husband, Michael Koman in 2019. Although we don't know a whole lot about Ellie's little ones (she keeps things pretty private!), we have a few details fans will surely want to know.

James Miller Koman

Ellie Kemper's first child was born in July 2016. Although she's especially private as far as her family goes on social media, she did share a first photo of James on Today back in 2017, calling him "the cutest baby on the planet."

According to Ellie, James has a fondness for the A Star Is Born soundtrack, which she plays regularly at home. "Bradley Cooper's voice is very deep and gravelly throughout the movie, and there's one dialogue bit on the soundtrack . . . where Lady Gaga says, 'You know I don't feel this way about everybody,' and Bradley Cooper says, 'Good!' James thinks that is so funny," Ellie shared in a January 2019 interview with Us Weekly, adding, "He bursts out laughing every time it happens and now he says it."

And apparently, the actress is pretty proud of her son's imitation, going as far to call herself an "obnoxious" mom. "When we're at a party or someone comes over, I'll say, 'James, you know I don't feel this way about everybody,' and he says, 'Good!' And I'm, like, a stage mom about it," she said. "I'm like, 'Look at our little party trick!'"

Matthew Koman

Ellie and Michael welcomed their second son, named Matthew, on Sept. 5, 2019. In honor of his first month earthside, the actress shared an adorable Instagram with the caption: "He has inherited his dad's brown hair and his mom's desire to be carried around all day in a baby sling. He's a good boy." How sweet! We don't know if Matthew has middle name like his brother does yet, and we're eager to learn more about Ellie's new bundle of joy.

In a Jan. 2019 interview with POPSUGAR, Ellie shared that having two kids is a whole lot different than having one. "Having two kids is a completely different world from having one, so I'm still figuring it all out. I don't have a routine. I'm a complete mess," Ellie said matter-of-factly. "Everything is chaos. And I keep thinking, 'Oh, it's going to click into gear pretty soon.' I thought I came up with the quote, 'One child is one, two children are a thousand,' but I think Kris Jenner was the first person to say this, so I'm just going to quote her!"

Two years ago (pre-COVID-19, pre-social distancing, and pre-quarantine), my husband and I made the monumental, life-changing decision to uproot our lives and move our growing family across the country. I had lived thousands of miles away from my family in a fairly liberal community with a strong sense of social responsibility for a decade, only seeing my parents and brothers once or twice a year for holidays and weddings.

  • 12 Styling Products I Swear By For Smooth, Sleek Hair - Even in Peak Summer Heat

Ahhh, humidity. It's like the minute temperatures rise above 80, my hair gets a mind of its own . . . and it's running the show. Straight styles get puffy, and my curls fall flat pretty much the minute I leave my air-conditioned apartment. And because my hair is treated with both a relaxer and color, those chemicals also make my hair drier and more prone to breakage in warmer months. Since I prefer my hair sleek (especially when I've spent all that time blow-drying it), I've gathered quite the arsenal of products I rely on when dealing with my fickle summer hair. There's a mix of creams, oils, and sprays to smooth it out, whether I'm wearing it straight or air-drying into well-defined waves, and some even add sun protection, too. Ahead, find my favorite humidity-proof styling products - they're all sold right at Sephora.

  • Mosquitoes Got You Down? Here are 10 Hacks to Keep Them Away From Your Patio For Good

Let me preface this with the fact that I was raised in the swampy, very humid (yep, my hair still feels it!) Miami, Florida, so I know a thing or two about mosquitoes. Once the pesky insect has fulfilled its destiny, leaving you with itchy inflammation and an annoyed outlook, hydrocortisone cream is your best friend. (I keep it in my handbag, kitchen, and bathroom at all times, as it's the only way the bites go away quickly, without leaving hyperpigmentation.) Yeah, I have a lot of post-bite battle wounds after living in Miami for the last 23 years. But let's back up. While hydrocortisone cream is great for treating bites, what about preventing them from happening in the first place? Yeah, I have a lot of experience in that too. If you have a deck or patio that you use during the summer, there are several things you can do to ensure more enjoyable barbecues, sunny pool days, and tanning afternoons with aperol spritzes in hand without the risk of mosquito bites sucking your best life out of you (literally). Here are my top tips for keeping mosquitoes far away, from a tried and true Everglade-side Miamian. Related: 30 of the Prettiest Mosquito-Repelling Candles You've Ever Seen and Sniffed
