While Ellen DeGeneres often uses her social media to showcase some of the best past moments from her long-running daytime talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which ended last year, she also occasionally shares more personal things, like her life with her wife, Portia de Rossi.

We got a glimpse at the latter yesterday, June 5, when Ellen just shared a rare photo on Instagram of the two cuddling together, with Portia earnestly smiling at the camera as Ellen takes a selfie.

The two appear to be out somewhere, likely at a restaurant or bar, as their surroundings show wood-paneled walls and decorations.

The 65-year-old didn't write anything to go along with the image, letting it speak for itself. Instead, she simply added three red hearts to the update, but fans were just as pleased without any description.

British author and podcaster Jay Shetty commented, "Makes me so happy ❤️."

"LOOK AT THEM THIS IS REAL LOVE 🥹🥹🥹🥹♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️," said one fan.

Another wrote, "SO beautiful, authentic & natural 💞🌈 You two are fab examples of day-to-day, relaxed, true love💖."

The photo came at the perfect time for Pride Month, with Ellen celebrating the occasion specifically in a later post.

Ellen and Portia have been married since 2008, but they first started dating in 2004. Earlier this year, the two renewed their vows with the help of some famous faces.

Along with The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen is a well-known comedian, while her wife also works on the stage and screen.

Portia is an actress with a notable career, featuring many prominent television and film roles. She played Nelle Porter in Ally McBeal from 1998 to 2002, as well as key roles in the 2000s TV shows Nip/Tuck and Better Off Ted.

More recently, Portia played Elizabeth North in Scandal, and Lindsay Bluth Fünke in Arrested Development.
