Elle Fanning Went to the Airport Barefoot, Which Is Something
Since Elle Fanning first started making appearances on the red carpet in the mid-aughts, she instantly became one of the fashion industry’s darlings. And she doesn’t let her age stop her from making boundary-pushing fashion choices. However, her most eyebrow-raising style moment just happened, and not on the red carpet, but at the airport: Elle forwent shoes for a stroll through LAX.
The 18-year-old hopped on a flight from the east coast on Tuesday evening, arriving at the Los Angeles airport late that night. The actress looked extremely comfortable, if mildly sleep deprived, strolling through LAX wearing a very breezy, oversized soft pink cotton blazer and trousers (also known as the street style star equivalent of a matching pajama set), plus wire-frame glasses and a luxe bag.

But it was what she wasn’t wearing that really got us talking. The Neon Demon star ambled through one of the busiest airports in the world totally barefoot without even so much as a pair of slip-on sandals in sight. Turns out, it’s not only her red carpet fashions that are totally risk-taking, it’s also her way of life.
