On Saturday, the English actress and swimwear designer greeted her Instagram followers with footage of her striking a pose in a swimming pool while modeling a white string bikini from her eponymous line.
"Happy weekend," Hurley, 56, captioned the video, which sees her pairing her chainlink-accented two-piece with a straw beach hat. The saucy post drew raves from followers, with U.K. TV personality Susannah Constantine dubbing Hurley a "minx."
Sharing her bikini photos has helped the Austin Powers star carve out a second career as a swimsuit designer, Speaking to Yahoo Life's The Unwind last year, she reflected on the popularity of her posts and why she won't let being in her 50s force her into "hiding."
"I've always had more female followers than male; I've always really loved that," she shared. "And I think women definitely like that I'm not hiding just because I'm over 50. Everybody still goes on holiday or goes to the beach or needs to swim. And I just think it's pretty tough if women think they have to cover up because we're not in our 20s anymore and perfect. Of course, once you're older, you think everybody's perfect who's younger than you. I think people respond well to that."
She added that she likes to have fun when she posts — but is mindful of her bottom line.
"I wouldn't say I never take it seriously, but it's a little tongue in cheek most of the time because when you're selling something, which is your own business, everyone knows what I'm doing," Hurley said. "I'm selling bikinis. I'm not saying, 'don't I look fabulous, everyone, this is how I am' — I'm selling a bikini."
