Elizabeth Hurley is honoring the memory of famed photographer, Patrick Demarchelier, who passed away this week at age 78.

Hurley, 56, who worked with Demarchelier repeatedly throughout the years, took to Instagram to celebrate the beloved artist, who rose to stardom shooting luxury fashion campaigns and later became Princess Diana's personal photographer.

In an Instagram post, Hurley gathered some of her favorite memories of working with Demarchelier, ranging from magazine covers and movie posters to advertisements. But the most eye-catching image was a nude photograph of Hurley, in which she can be seen lying on her stomach beside an infinity pool, gazing at the camera in front of a blue sky.

"RIP @patrickdemarchelier I shot so many covers, advertising campaigns and movie posters with you. You were a dream to work with and you will be so missed," Hurley wrote, along with a heart emoji.

Hurley's 19-year-old son Damian, now a model, also commented on the post, sharing a heart emoji.

2022 has presented several tough losses for Hurley. In early March, her former fiancé, cricket player Shane Warne, passed away at age 52 from a heart attack. The couple dated for three years before splitting up in 2013.

Hurley took to Instagram on March 5 to honor the athlete, posting touching photos from the pair’s relationship. “I feel like the sun has gone behind a cloud forever. RIP my beloved Lionheart @shanewarne23," she wrote.

Damian also shared some touching memories of Warne. In a series of throwback photos of himself, the cricket player and other family, he shared that he's “still trying to wrap my head around this… SW was a father figure to me for most of my formative years and was truly one the best men I’ve ever known. My heart is broken. Thinking of and sending love to all SW’s family.”

Later in March, Hurley shared how saddened she was that she had to miss Warne's funeral.

"My heart aches that I can’t be in Australia tomorrow for Shane’s funeral. I was filming last night and, with the time jump, physically can’t get there," Hurley wrote, sharing the couple's engagement photos from a photo shoot on the beach.

"These pictures were taken in Sri Lanka to celebrate our engagement- we had all our children with us and it was the happiest time. It still hasn’t really sunk in that he’s gone. It seems too cruel that all the people who loved him will never have another Lion hug, but our memories will live forever," she continued. "RIP Lionheart, with love your Luna."
