  • The actress, model, and swimsuit designer shared the snap to promote her line of swimsuits.

  • Elizabeth claims she doesn't follow a formal fitness routine, but makes it a priority to get active outdoors and eat local.

In Elizabeth Hurley's world, it's always summer. The actress, model, and swimsuit designer shared a new Instagram of herself looking buff and blissed out on the beach. She's wearing one of her swimsuit designs, naturally. "Does anyone NOT need a black one piece?" she wrote in the caption.

What keeps her looking so strong at 55? Elizabeth previously spoke with Women's Health about her back-to-basics fitness philosophy:"Making more time for exercise, eating nutritious foods, and taking the time to do relaxing activities."

She also says that she doesn't have a formal workout routine. Instead, she makes it a priority to spend time outdoors. "I don’t do any regulated exercise, but I’m very active. On the weekends I go for long hikes with my dogs," she told The Cut. "I try and stretch every day. I do the occasional yoga or Pilates class, but mostly it’s just self-exercise at home. I might do some stomach exercises or some bottom or arm exercises, but because I trained for a dancer when I was young, I sort of know all the exercises."

When she's home in the UK, she eats locally, and even grows her own fruits and vegetables. "All through summer we eat fruit and vegetables from my own garden," she told The Cut. "I used to have a small organic farm, and all the meat my son ate was from the farm. Obviously that’s not possible for most people, but supporting local farmers wherever you live is a good thing."

She always starts her day by downing two mugs of warm water."'It tastes fairly disgusting," she told Daily Mail UK. "But it's fantastic for your digestive system."
