With the shopping extravaganza that is Black Friday 2019 here, are you aware of the rule where every time you buy something you need, it resets the clock and lets you buy more things you want, guilt-free? Maybe not, because it's a rule we just made up, but it does sound fair, so we'll be observing it this year. And the timing couldn't be better, because we just stumbled across an electric toothbrush that's only $16 during Amazon's Black Friday sale, so consider our shopping tallies reset.
This isn't just a run-of-the-mill generic toothbrush, either; it's the Colgate 360 Optic White Platinum Electric toothbrush, and it comes with four replacement heads, so you can continue your good habits well into the new year. It's normally $22, but between November 29 and December 1, it's 25 percent off, so now is the moment to swoop.
The toothbrush is battery-powered, and it comes ready to go with two AAAs to get you started. The brush features a dual-action head that spins to clean and whiten, while tapered bristles tackle surface stains, all surrounding a white polishing star for deeper jobs, with a built-in tongue scraper on the reverse to keep your breath truly minty-fresh. That's a lot of multitasking for any brush, let alone one that's under $20, but apparently the Colgate 360 Optic lives up to the hype: it has over four stars on Amazon, with one commenter reporting that using the brush felt like "flossing and brushing at the same time" because of the superior length of the bristles.
This brush basically had us at hello, but if you still need convincing, just remind yourself that if you buy something that's actually good for you during Black Friday, you can buy another three things that aren't. (Those are just the rules.) Also, remind yourself to shop this toothbrush on Amazon between November 29 and December 1, to take full advantage of the sale.
